My brother came to Maandeeq last night, 28th Oct, for a tea. I met him in the area and I suggested to go back because I wanted to have a proper Somali tea. While waiting for the tea, I looked through the menu and I got tempted to order a takeaway dinner which I did at the end. I had the Pasta Fino with Chicken steak. We went home and ate it. The food was amazing!!! The tea and the Pasta reminded me of back home in Mogadishu. The dinner was 10/10
We ended up in the area this morning, 29th Oct, to watch The Parade for The Republic Day of Turkey celebrations so we planned to come here for a quick breakfast before we go to see the parade. The service is friendly, and prices are reasonable. Whether you're using public transport or just taking a stroll, getting here is a breeze.
Mandeeq Somali Restaurant has become my reliable spot for authentic Somali flavors. If you're in the mood for top-notch suqaar, delicious breakfast, and the best Somali tea around, this is the...

The portions are too big (and some part is just wasted when a person can't finish), so the prices are slightly higher for this type of quick dine-in crowded place. Meat was too seasoned for me, so had to give it to my friend (to not waste it all).
It was okay, but impressive, memorable enough to...
