Let's start by saying that this place is one of the best hidden gems you can ever find in all Istanbul. Their customer service is amazing, it is highlighted especially by the young guy approaching you in a very calm and friendly way. The host's behaviour is totally different from the one you will find some roads up, in the touristy street, here at Valley Hills Café you will be treated like a king/queen. I swear, at every single question i had, the host was coming making sure i was satisfied.
Let's talk about the food...WOW! Super fresh, super delicious. As an Italian, it's very important for me to eat fresh and good quality food, this Café has amazing options. I didn't feel super hungry and i ordered mostly appetizers, i ordered a diet coke, one tomatoes& aubergines plate, one meze plate paired with different types of spreads like hummus, olives, veggies and I also ordered turkish fried rolls yes...these were so good. I loved their goat cheese filled rolls...AMAZING! The portions were bigger than imagined, I didn't know if I could finish all by myself... I did because I'm a little piggy hahaha
Anyways, I was super happy about choosing this spot. I think it's even worth a metro ride coming from different areas in Instanbul.
Their customer service was so good that at the end they gifted me one piece baklava and a tea. I paid in total around 14.50 usd, very good price considering the fact that I ate portions that could be ate by two people. What i suggest you is to get lots of different plates and share them all, all the items in their menu are fresh and I can't reccomend enough their vegetarian dishes!
Overall, you gotta come here. You will thank me later.

Read moreWe went here because of the high ratings and apparent reasonable prices as per reviews and were a little disappointed. Prices have increased from the menus on google from this year as it seems to be everywhere in Istanbul. Everyone spoke about the price being reasonable but honestly we paid the same amount in Greece a few days prior and got much more food then (and that's euro!),
We ordered the grilled haloumi and shrimp fried in butter for starters and chicken casserole for main. Bread was complimentary, which was nice along with two dips (tzatziki and spicy tomato relish type dip), unless it was the last line in the receipt (either that or water). Bill came to 1350 tl (roughly 36 euro).
Also, we couldn't help but notice that everyone around us was getting tea or baklava (I assume complimentary as per the reviews) but we didn't. Perhaps because we didn't pay enough? Service impeccable overall but would not return for...
Read moreA lovely, authentic Turkish restaurant with a wide selection on the menu. Located in a relatively quiet neighborhood, yet still very easy to reach. A must-visit place! The owner/host is exceptionally kind and warm—he even spoke Chinese to me (well-done :) You can tell the food is freshly made with very good ingredients and served straight from the kitchen. The BBQ meat I ordered was so tender, juicy, and had great flavor. I finished everything despite having a big breakfast buffet just a few hours earlier.
It’s a pity I discovered this place on the last day of my trip; otherwise, I would definitely have returned. You should never miss a restaurant that combines delicious food & kind and warm service. It is truly a hidden gem in a city with hundreds of thousands of...
