We went to this place hoping to eat a decent meal after our sight seeing. As a Turkish Citizen I was embarrased to sit here with my tourist friend who I was showing around. The food was awful, presentation was awful..and we weren't expecting something spectacular, but this was by far the worst food I ever ate anywhere. The food was blant and had no taste, the plate had half cut (semi washed) plants..(so called salad) mashed potatoes was like a tiny taster (which btw..tasted nothing like potatoes) one of the glasses for our drinks was broken. I called the manager to tell him our complaints, and he had the most irrational answers to all of them.. blaming the inflation for the overpriced menu (one plate of frozen fries for 110 TL) and the blant and oil soaked food, telling me they were doing it for people who might have high blood pressure so they dont add any salt or spices?. "Very considerate manager thinking about the health of others but failing to pay attention on serving with broken glass." After hearing our complaints, they didn't even try to make anything right. Anyway, avoid this place...

Wife ordered a lentle burger and the flavour was nice but there was no texture, was smush (could have easily fried it for a minute on both sides).
The cheese filled cigars (forgot the Turkish name for it) was good. Nice and warm and not too overpowering, should be served with a nice sause but was still nice.
The cheese covered kofte was nice but a little too much cheese but easily fixed by removing the cheese (also came in a sizzling pan which was nice).
The lentle soup was great. Hit the spot and the bread was nice but was lacking that little but of kick, a tad bland but very nice.
Like I said the food was good but could have easily been better. The atmosphere was a little dull but not off putting and the service was good (can't really complain) only thing I will say was sometimes it was hard to get the waiter's attention sometimes. Prices for some of the things was a little too much All in all I would say 6.5/10. Definitely could easily be better food wise and everything else is subject to personal opinion so I don't...
Read moreThis restaurant is over rated and taking advantage because of the Cappadocia city's superb reputation and hospitality culture. This restaurant's food taste, food quality, service and staff behaviour does not suit and is not according to Cappadocia's tourist oriented culture. We were a family of 4 people, and after so many requests got a seat indoors (while outdoor seating was getting available now and then) but staff and the owner/manager was not ready to listen. Finally we ordered drinks and food. The food dishes came in one by one, and in sections and no one served us the drinks. And we had to get up from our table to ask for water, and still no one was listening. Absolutely a let down. The food was not at all worth tasting and we some how ate and paid the bill and didn't wait for any thing and went out. The restaurant is NOT...
