Nomads Roof Bar & Bistro — Restaurant in Göreme

One of the worst dining experiences ever. We walked in and asked the staff if they could serve us dinner - they said yes. After taking our order they informed us it will take 40 mins to serve us. We were okay with it. The food took over 3 hrs to come to us. We waited and didn’t complain much but we lost patience eventually. They rushed the food to us - the meat was undercooked and the pasta was raw. We had a pregnant lady with us and even after repeated requests they would not speed up the service or remake the food properly. We did not think we should pay full price for such a horrible experience but the staff did not accommodate us. They turned off the lights in the place while we still sitting there to get us out. I can’t believe what I experienced - this place doesn’t deserve to be open to serve people....

We had our breakfast in Nomads Roof Bar as we stayed in Nomads Roof Hotel overnight. The breakfast consisted of different types of fresh pastries (simit, açma, loaf bread) local delicacies, including a variety of fresh, tasteful herbs like parsley, mint, dill and more. We loved that the different spreads (Acur ezme, tahini with molasses, hazelnut cream and strawberry jam) were presented in tiny ceramic containers. Worst service we received on our 10 day trip. Ordered lemonades that took 45 minutes to arrive after asking staff twice why we had not received these. Drinks arrived after food. Got told there was no french fries after food arrived. Food was dry, flavourless and overcooked. Also a black hair in salad.
