Me and my Wife loved the look of this restaurant because as were walking past we were having a look at people's plates and the food looked amazing. Plus it's a very authentic Turkish restaurant. For our meal we chose to sit in a sit down area on cushions and carpets on the floor for as I say an authentic experience. We ordered the mixed dip meze, sigara boregi, a beef clay pot and Adana kebabs. It was all truly delicious. But we got given a few freebies throughout the meal and I feel I need to mention the Acili Ezme (tomato chilli dip) was the nicest I've tasted anywhere. The house red wine was really nice too! Chef Fevzi really went out of his way to look after us and was very friendly. Our other server Ceki was very friendly and both of them couldn't do enough for us to make our meal and experience as good as it was. Its the oldest restaurant in the area and the chef has been there 40 years which you can tell with the food. 100% recommend...

The stuffed vine leaves were filled with something I’ve never come across before and hope never to come across again, The “cheese platter” was a lot of 2 kinds of cheese on a bed of lettuce (of questionable freshness). Sadly the greatest disappointment was the manti. Firstly the menu doesn’t say if they’re filled with meat or lentils, I would have preferred meat, they were lentils. Unfortunately the star of the show in that dish was salt and lots of it! To be fair the venue has a warm cosy feel about it and the live music hums away gently in the...
Read moreWhat an absolute hidden gem! The service was amazing – warm, attentive, and genuine. The food was hearty and authentic, with traditional Turkish flavours that were absolutely excellent. The servings were so generous - we definitely ordered far too much, but every dish was freshly made and delicious. So many colour's as well.
On top of that, we were treated to complimentary snacks and the most beautiful apple tea, which was such a lovely touch. The value for money is incredible – very affordable for the quality and portion sizes.
We left completely full and very happy. Highly recommend to anyone looking for authentic Turkish food and a welcoming atmosphere!
