Bloomsbury's Boutique Cafe & Artisan Bakery — Restaurant in Abu Dhabi

Worst restaurant that we ever had in our life !!!!!!!! We reach there at 9:15 A.M today October 19,2024 and I came first before my friend (who will be having birthday breakfast) I was in a hurry to reach the restaurant so i can make a plan , we tried to surprise her with birthday cake , I told the MANAGER and one of the WAITER to pls help us . I order cake and specify WHEN I WILL GET MY RECEIPT THATS THE TIME THAT YOU WILL BRING THE CAKE SO SHE WILL BE SURPRISED . After we eat I ask the receipt.!

The waitress came with the words “YOU WILL GET YOUR RECEIPT NOW? YOU ORDER CAKE ALSO YEAH ?” THATS very nice surprise you guys did for us by asking me if we order cake infront of the birthday celebrant even I specified everything already !!!!!!!

I went to the manager and so upset and his trying to tell that WE JUST WANT TO MAKE SURE THAT YOU ORDER CAKE ! Like hello ? Make sure that we order cake ? Infront of the birthday girl ? AND THE MANAGER EVEN KNOW HOW UPSET I WAS he don’t even bother to make up every thing AND they just send again the same waitress with the cake I ordered and put in the table, without saying happy birthday ! without even candle !!!!! she just literally put the cake in the table !!!!! Oh yeah they give us complementary cake to cover all of the mess instead of bringing the team and sing happy birthday even after all what happened or say something for ruining our surprise the manager doesn’t care at all. !!!! I wonder how he became manager !! If you want to ruin your day ? Go to this restaurant! They didn’t even serve the drinks that the birthday girl order and the meal of our one friend after waiting for 46min !!!!!! THANK YOU FOR THE WORST DAY THAT YOU DID FOT US !!!!!! We are the first client who came today so I think there is no reason that you guys are not in your mind just because all of you don’t know how to handle the pressure because clients are coming!!!!!!! We will never come back to this restaurant an we will make sure all our friends and people that we know will never come in this...

And then came the best part - tasting the cake! It was absolutely delicious - moist, flavorful, and exactly what I was hoping for. It was clear that the ingredients were high quality and the cake was made with care.

Overall, I cannot recommend Bloomsbury Bakers enough. Their cake delivery service was exceptional in every way, from their user-friendly website to their excellent customer service to their delicious cakes. I will definitely be ordering from them again...

I made the best choice of coming here to celebrate my birthday dinner with a friend. The dining area is spacious, and we actually asked to change tables twice while trying to find the perfect spot for photos (every corner is just so charming, it was hard to choose). Despite our indecision, the two staff members assisting us were incredibly patient and made us feel completely at ease, never once giving the impression that it was a hassle. I highly recommend the Steak Au Poivre and Braised Short Rib. Generous portion sizes and waaay bigger than they appear in the photos. We also really enjoyed the complimentary bread served with balsamic vinegar and olive oil.

My friend surprised me with a slice of the Purple Velvet Lustre cake, and it was heavenly! Perfectly balanced sweetness, an unbelievably soft texture, and visually stunning. I mean, look at those colors. It tasted just as good as it looked.

One of the male staff members kindly offered to take photos of us and even checked to make sure we liked how they turned out. The attention to detail and the personalized care from both staff members (a gentleman and a lady, really sorry for not cathcing their names) truly elevated our experience. Their genuine hospitality left a lasting impression.

All in all, a perfect 10/10 for food, service, and ambiance. I’m already looking forward to coming back, and I’m definitely trying the Asian noodles next time. Thank you Bloomburry's Al...
