Went to Nusret a few times, but hadn't realized that LPM was the restaurant next to it. So this is our first time at LPM, and we haven't tasted this much good food for a while, so much so that we've booked another reservation to try the A La Carte menu
Welcome Drink: Rooibos Tea with crispy chocolate smothered with crunchy nuts bite & sip, so good (or maybe breaking fast with anything is always good
Starter 1: Burrata with Tomatoes & Basil. Oh my the cheese is so good here
Starter 2: Calamars Frits. Fried to perfection, we couldn't stop picking them
Starter 3: Prawns in Olive. I have allergy with "uncleaned" prawns, so when I didn't have skin reaction, I know the prawns are high quality, cleaned properly and taste good. Approved
Starter 4: Sweet Peppers in Olive. Ooh la la, how they make peppers this sweet & good?
Main 1: Grilled Sirloin. Grilled to Perfection I've tried Meat & Co, Nusret, Flavors and Texas, this sirloin is grilled in methodical way, all the pieces taste evenly good
Main 2: Roast Baby Lemon Chicken. Ain't nothing baby about it, this piece is big, we almost went for takeaway (eat s.l.o.w.l.y A A

Dessert 1: Date & Almond Cake with ice cream on top. Eventhough I was full with the lemon chicken, amazingly I finished this delicacy within 5 minutes (with the wife staring and later commented that she only had a small piece, *whoops must be so good)
Dessert 2: Dark Chocolate Bar with Macademia nuts. This also tastes awesome, we cleaned all the...
Read morePros: • Excellent cuisine: The food at LPM is consistently high-quality, with generous portions that exceed expectations—especially the salads, which are notably large and fresh. • Extensive menu: A wide and diverse selection is available, ensuring there’s something for everyone. The French culinary focus is well-executed. • Wine list: The French wine offerings are commendable, including some well-priced bottles under €100 (approx. 400 AED), which is increasingly rare in the UAE dining scene. • Service: Staff were generally attentive and professional. While the overall service level was good, there is room for improvement in the timing of dish delivery—mains were not served as synchronously as promised.
Cons: • Limited wine diversity: The wine list lacks variety outside of French options, which may disappoint those looking for a broader international selection. • Inconsistencies with guest policy: Several tables were clearly hosting birthday celebrations, despite the restaurant’s stated policy that such gatherings are not permitted—this contradiction could confuse guests expecting a more refined or consistent ambiance. • Dessert experience: The warm chocolate mousse dessert did not meet the high standard set by the preceding dishes, coming across as underwhelming in comparison.
Overall impression: LPM Abu Dhabi delivers a sophisticated French dining experience with strong food and wine offerings. It’s well-suited for a quality meal out, especially if you’re looking for generous portions and an upscale ambiance. However, some inconsistencies in service timing and dessert quality slightly detract from the experience. Still, it remains a strong choice for French cuisine lovers...
Read moreFour of us. 2 couples. Drove from Dubai to Adu Dhabi for a dinner. Including travel and eat time- 5 hours. Not bad. Have never done this before - drive to another city for a meal and be back the same day. Was worth it.
We had the chef’s table menu without the wine pairing. Ordered the wines separately. On the food we went a bit crazy. Tried almost everything.
Starters: Oysters (amazing), tuna carpaccio (super amazing), burrata (soft and unlike any other burrata we all had tasted- melted in the mouth, if that is possible), endive salad (the walnuts were great) and the ratatouille.
For the main we had the sea bass - succulent, soft and full of flavors; the prawns a decent but not exceptional and the rigatoni pasta with mushrooms. The food was was amazing and not heavy and neither were we left wanting more.
For dessert we took all the four on the menu: chocolate bar, the cheese cake, the crème brûlée and the sorbets. Except the sorbets everything was exceptional.
For the wines we picked 2 wines- one a Rousillon and another a Saint-Joseph. Both very good and surprisingly didn’t burn a hole in the pocket.
The service was excellent. Didn’t catch the names but the sommelier from Venezuela and the service from Burma were super attentive.
At the end: would we go back? Hell yes.
