P.A.M.E.L.A!!! A witty acronym posted inside SARAP NG KUSINA, a Filipino Restaurant located at Hamdan St. at the back of Grand Outlet. Spending almost a month in Abu Dhabi, I am never in want of good, home cooked Filipino dishes.... Kare kare, Sinigang, Fish Fillet with white sauce ( my fave!) Sisig, Pancit, and many more! With their free soup that warms the tummy. For our meals be it Dine-in, take out or delivery, there is consistency that satisfies one's palate. The atmosphere of the place is inviting- clean and comfy, that adds to the friendly and efficient, quick service of the staff. If you love singing, you can request to sing and belt out your fave karaoke songs and enjoy the moment with friends. Before you go, remember to grab a pack of their homemade Biko, kutsinta, puto, and the most loved LECHE FLAN. It makes a yummy pasalubong! I always sneak a bite before calling it a night. Our group is a Suki/ patron for their delivery. It is more practical and it costs less to have our hot meals delivered- Especially when we get home late from tour since they close at 11:00pm

Read moreFilipino food is hard to find in the US, so seemed like a great thing to try in Abu Dhabi, a city that's 6% Filipino. And this restaurant showed me just how good Filipino food can be when it's made fresh so that the pure flavors come through even in dishes that don't have all that many spices. The taro leaves in coconut milk were tender, had a really nice leafy texture and fresh taste, and weren't overwhelmed in the sauce. The bihon noodles had a pleasantly subtle taste, with fresh ingredients that didn't need spices. Lumpia took a bit longer to come out, probably because it's a more complicated dish, but was also great. Food also came out very fast.
My only complaint is that the menu is a bit confusing. Some dishes say they "serve 2," but there were only two of us and one of those wouldn't have been enough for both of us. We ended up getting two "serves 1" and one "serves 2" and it was the right...
Read moreOne of the oldest and best Filipino Restaurants in Abu Dhabi. I like every food that I ordered. When my office was still in Hamdan area, I used to have my lunch in this restaurant while watching TFC. I suddenly missed their food that’s why, me and my friend ended up visiting the resto again.
Calamares is to die for: squid is soft while batter maintain its crispiness. Their Pancit Guisado is just perfect for my taste buds- not salty, not oily nor too cooked but perfectly sauteed and cooked. My friend finished the Bangsilog which is one of their combo meals, P.A.M.E.L.A. so that just proved that it’s also delicious.
A must visit and try Filipino Restaurant.
