I had an incredible dining experience at Rock Cuisine Restaurant, and I have to give a huge shoutout to Dehan for his amazing service! From the moment we walked in, Dehan greeted us with a warm smile and a genuine enthusiasm that set the tone for the evening.
He was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, taking the time to explain the specials and make recommendations based on our preferences. I was impressed by how he seemed to know exactly what we were looking for, even before we did! His passion for the food was evident, and it made our choices feel even more special.
Throughout the meal, Dehan checked in on us frequently, ensuring that everything was to our liking without being intrusive. He had a perfect balance of attentiveness and friendliness, making us feel like valued guests rather than just another table. It was clear that he truly cared about our experience.
The food itself was phenomenal—each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. Dehan’s recommendations were spot on, and he even took the time to share the story behind some of the dishes, which added a personal touch to our meal.
To top it all off, Dehan went above and beyond by surprising us with a complimentary dessert to celebrate a special occasion we hadn’t even mentioned. It was such a thoughtful gesture that truly exemplified his commitment to excellent service.
Overall, Dehan made our visit to Rock Cuisine Restaurant unforgettable. His exceptional service, combined with the delicious food, created a perfect dining experience. I can’t recommend him highly enough, and I look forward to returning soon for another...
Read moreUpdate/ 2nd visit: Went back a second time a few days after our first visit and service was awful. They had a table which was celebrating and the customers were very drunk, very loud and obnoxious. As a result all the wait staff were hovering around that table. We asked them why they served so much alcohol when these people could not even walk out without help, shouting loudly, needed a bucket to vomit etc. We asked to speak to the manger to ask for better service, but they said she “does not speak English” and she was avoiding talking to us. When we left we spoke to her and her English was fine. The decent thing to do would be to at least discount our bill as we had to keep getting up to call the waiters when we needed to order something. Plus they said the bar tender left early (7pm) so all of the mock tails were not available. Yet they served excessive alcohol to the other table. Highly disappointed- will not be back.
First visit: tasty hot pot. We had the spicy and non spicy (half and half) and we added veg, meat & seafood. Everything was fresh and delicious and the service is good, they guide you on how to order etc. Even made a sauce for us based on our spice levels, from the sauce bar. Cocktails were good, did not skimp on the alcohol. Great experience, and tasty food…will definitely be back once more...
Read moreThis is a new Chinese hotpot restaurant situated in the same building of the marina city premiere hotel (yes you can park in the hotel for free and the restaurant will validate your ticket) . Food is very high quality. They use good meat and very fresh vegetables. I don't eat a lot of spicy food so I am amazed to see the selection of none spicy hotpot stock on offer. Definitely try the mushroom or tomato stock. They complement the flavour of the meat so well and can be enjoyed as soup by itself too.
The restaurant is also beautifully decorated with two private rooms each can seat ten people which are ideal for family gatherings. Private rooms get their own attendants for ordering for food and drinks but reservation is needed for these rooms.
Favourite dished: Meat Platter ( a few pieces of their best meat varieties); Spicy beef (not really spicy and so tender and flavourful); Mongolian Lamb, Beef balls, Pull noodles ( definitely try that - the noodle guys pull it fresh at your table in dance like moves - very entertaining and only AED12 for...
