McDonald's — Restaurant in England

I have been in to the rigby Road store tonight to get told why am I still there from the unprofessional manager came at me all guns blazing because I complained about my sauce not being on there I will be going to citizens advice about this never in a million years has anyone ever spoken to me like that from a big chain you can do better than the manager woman who was on tonight at rigby road I had previously ordered and didn't eat my meal because I wanted the sauce I was told on the phone send someone or could I not go and pick it up after I'd just paid for delivery I don't drive the attitude left me in distress and when I returned home I felt physically sick at the was she was with me the cleaner even said sorry for her reaction was very unprofessional just take a look at the camera between the hours of 9 and 10.15 she came to me twice and didn't even apologise. I threw my meal into the bin after being spoken to like that she said that I swore I did not swear how dare she put words into my mouth and call me out infront of everyone she should not be a manager, when asking for her name she also refused to give me it because she knew it wasn't right how she acted. I ordered a delivery then had to go in store after sending my partner they refused to give him my sauce so I had to go we took out order number 39 and this was when the manager was rude and unprofessional wexwas waiting for my partners order she said looking away at the till then what are u still doing here? I'm in a state of shock. McDonalds' specifically this one, have been displaying a lack of consistency over the recent COVID period. Several issues have occurred on multiple trips to this location from; Milkshake machines not working. Sauces forgotten to be placed in the bag. Entire meals missed from orders, requiring me to drive back to collect the rest of my order. Cones placed to close the drive-thru at 2am, even though the previous night they had been open 24/7 and their online details showed that they were supposed to be open. Having to park up and await for your order (which defeats the entire premise of 'fast food'). Poor management of the litter in the local area, there is often piles of McDonald's paper bags and food all over the floor of the car park towards the left side of the Bannatyne Gym.

These are all experiences that have occurred from this particular McDonalds, so I would suggest caution if you are planning on visiting here before a lengthy route, as your expectations may not be met in areas as little as not having what you want, to issues as great as not even being open when they say they are - a wasted trip.

Overall, as a McDonald's it is 'fast food', and a couple of these issues do not reflect the service of the workers at this specific location, however others do. The food is as expected and the prices are cheap, but human error exists, so check your order in your bag and be sure to ask for any items that are missing. Went to get our food for tea tonight as a treat for our poorly son. We went through the drive through. They take our order but get the size wrong. We order a large not a medium. We only find this out when went collect our food at the last window. It was only 40p difference that they wanted us to pay but we don't carry cash, only card, the manager actually wanted to take our card from us to take it to a different area to pay the 40p difference. Like how crazy are you?!?!? How many strangers are you willing to give your credit card to and have them disappear for god knows how long. And she was actually agitated that I refused to give her my bank card. Its actually fraud to pay for something using another person's bank card so that idiot needs sacking straight off the bat. In the end I had to rummage around the car to find odd change hiding in random places just to pay the damn 40p so we didn't have to go back around, at this point the queue was huge.

The second point to make is that we got x3 mcflurrys. They only had a tiny amount of ice cream in so I had to tell them to put the right amount in. It was pathetic. They never fill up the mcflurrys to the correct amount that we pay for but I usually just ignore it. Tonight after dealing with these idiots over 40p I just had to say something about it because it's ridiculous. And again, they were agitated. Give us what we ask for and give us what we pay for.
