Where to begin? We ordered the burgers but were told there are no burgers. We ordered mocktails but were told there are no mocktails. We then ordered a pineapple juice but were told 15 minutes later there was no pineapple juice. We then ordered a few starters, a main and the kids menu for our baby daughter (3 courses for £5.49. not bad we thought) The first starter arrived along with the main. The lamb chops were served with a side of pasta so dry they could've been made from cardboard. We had these two dishes to eat for the first 10 minutes wondering where the other starters were. One of them arrived and the other arrived probably about 30 minutes later. About 40 minutes into our dinner my little one was playing up and clearly needed a nappy change. I asked our waiter if there were any nappy changing facilities available to which he promptly replied "no". Puzzled, I asked him again and asked if there was anywhere at all that I could possibly take my little one for a quick nappy change. He suggested the toilets. I asked if there were any tables or anything that I could lay her down on to change my daughter to which he promptly replied once more "no". I then asked if he could go and ask the manager. This was something he only went and did when another far more helpful waiter noticed our conversation and also asked him to do the same. The two of them walked upstairs together and unfortunately the not so helpful one returned. Only he didn't even bother to come and tell us what the manager had said (most likely because he hadn't asked) instead I got up from my seat, walked over to him and asked about the outcome of his conversation. Can you guess his one word reply? Yes thats right another solemn "no" I then went upstairs myself with baby in hand to ask who I assumed was the manager. He kindly requested one of the waiters to take us to the top floor staff room so we can change our baby in comfort and reasonable privacy. To add to this series of comical errors my wife who I had noticed really was taking her time to come upstairs with the rest of the nappy changing stuff said the reason she was late is because when she asked the unhelpful waiter where I was he said he didn't know. She asked if I had gone to change our baby to which he gave that all so familiar one word answer. She then asked where had I gone. To which he replied "outside". Seriously this waiter was the most unhelpful person I think I've ever come across. He genuinely thought I had gone outside to change our baby on a cold Saturday late night in October. Anyway once we were back downstairs eating through our already cold meal we had to ask twice about the kids meal which still hadn't arrived. It did arrive shortly afterwards. Soon I decided it was time to go. I went upstart to pay by card only to be told they don't accept card but there is an ATM about 5 minutes away on foot. I also asked them to cancel the ice cream which was part of the kids meal. The person at the till said he would get it ready straight away so no need to cancel. I said "ok" what the hell it's only ice cream how long can it take. I went back downstairs to help pack up and the helpful waiter from earlier on came with a little tiny tub which honestly looked like coleslaw to me but we were in such a rush I just put it in the bag and we went on our way. We got to our hotel and opened up the tiny little tub to find it was indeed COLESLAW!! LOL absolute joke! Oh and when asked how my meal had been by the gentleman at the till I basically gave him my honest opinions about the service and the not so helpful waiter who to my surprise haS actually been working there for quite a while. We were given a bit of a discount for the trouble. £4.44 to be exact. We arrived at this restaurant after a 3 hour drive. We were in Leicester for a family wedding. Don't know the area or restaurant. After reading the other reviews my experience seems to be the norm and not the exception. This is the first time I've written a restaurant review.

Our first visit here and after reading so much of rave reviews about this steak place, we left not too impressed. From the table service given by the wait staff, taste, portion of meat and price, we felt that we could have had a better meal. The wait staff are not well-trained and barely have knowledge of the food items and they kept standing by the counter to have a chat. It felt u comfortable as we were seated right in front of the drinks counter so kept encountering them doing that. The restaurant manager was very helpful and professional as was one of the male staff who served us our orders from the kitchen. They need to increase the meat portion and less of the carbs/ side veggies. The spicy rice was anything but spicy.

Asked for my steak to be served on a plate as opposed to a sizzler dish. Vegetables came out still frozen. We were asked to put all of our vegetables on an empty plate which was brought out and taken away to be microwaved! Why not just bring fresh frozen vegetables out at the right temperature as a gesture of good will? The chef says because we got them on a plate and not a a sizzler they were cold. Surely they should account for the dish it's served in and defrost/heat them accordingly. Very disappointed. This is not the kind of service I ever experienced from this establishment and I hope it is just a one off experience. The steak was great however, but this experience really let the whole experience down unfortunately.

I went with my family, 4 adults (women) and 3 children. A few days earlier I called to book a table but they advised this is not something they can do and we will just have to turn up on the day, so we decided to go anyway. We got to the restaurant at 7:30pm and were told our table will be ready for 9pm and we will receive a call so we went home whilst we waited. It was almost 9pm and we hadn't recieved a call so I called them to find out what was going on at which point I was told we were not guaranteed a table for 9pm?! I was shocked! I asked why have you told me to wait 1.5 hours if you cannot give me a table for 9pm? The waiter on the phone kept saying I dont know and we will call you once we know. We decided that we would start making our way anyway as we thought if we are there they will remember to seat us, when we were on our way we recieved a call to let us know the table is ready. We went in and sat down, weren't given any menus so we managed to get one of the waiters attention to provide us with menus. We waited a further 20 minutes to get the waiters attention to place our order but again we were completely ignored. I understand they can be busy but then there were people who were seated after us who got their menus straight away and someone went up to take their order as well! (They pick and choose as there were a few groups of people waiting inside - whereas we were told we would have to wait outside in the cold)The 2 men at the counter wearing suits who were clearly the managers didn't acknowledge us despite his trying to grab their attention. After 20 mins of waiting I got up to tell the manager to send someone over to take our order, the younger manager then comes marching to the table after me and says "what's your problem?" I said, what do you mean, I basically had to come to toros to book a table, waited 1.5 hours, never recieved a call until I called up and have now been sitting here for 20 mins and no one has come to take our order. He said " that's not our problem, you having to wait 1.5hrs for a table has nothing to do with the waiting time for someone to take your order, we'll take your order when were ready" We were so shocked at this point, he did not look at the way he was speaking to a group of women who had children with them! If they cant handle the amount of customers they are getting they need a better way of managing that, at the end of the day we pay for the service and food we order, we dont expect to be treated in this manner for something were paying for! The manager was raising his voice at this point and was being extremely rude. The waiter came over to the table and said "I'm ready to take your order", the manager said to him "DONT TAKE THERE ORDER, GO!" This just topped our whole experience off, not only was he rude, arrogant and screaming the place down he had the nerve to tell the waiter not to take our order as if we did something wrong! We were then walking out when the young looking manager started to scream at us, telling us to "GET OUT" in front of all his customers. He also got personal and called me a "FAT S*" the older man who was also a manager did not intervene and let the him run his mouth off! This situation literally made me feel sick, how can someone who calls themselves a manager speak to a customer or anyone in this manner?! People like this own businesses? It's a joke! Were not the only ones who have been treated like this, there are more reviews on trip advisor. To think your giving them business and yet they dont care about their customers at all! They speak to you in a demeaning way and obviously cannot take criticism! Also goes to show never believe these bloggers who promoted the "new" and "improved" Toros because clearly they will not speak the truth! We then went to Kobe sizzlers and recieved top notch service which should be given by every restaurant! I will never visit ANY TOROS and wouldn't recommend any person who doesnt know then or have a following on social media to go there, you will not be valued...

A regular customer at Toros go every other week, rang in for availability was told there was enough space. On arrival we were told we had to wait 15/20 mins which was reasonable. Then had to wait another 20 mins as ‘a booking was late’ whilst waiting 3 tables asked to place an order and the waiter told them to wait 2 mins everytime which resulted in them waiting 20 mins, the staff did not have a clue where to clean where to take orders it was all so unorganised. manager then instructed waiter to seat us down. We was sat right near the desk, asked manager if we could order at the desk and he refused. Talking amongst ourselves about the service the young manger rushed to the restaurants defence. When trying to explain why we came to the conclusion the manager got extremely rude to us stating I was pathetic as I had my hands in my pockets. Not even realising we were a table of all ladies the manager started waving his arms around arguing loudly making everyone look towards us. The manger also stated that I should keep my opinions to myself barring in mind I was talking to my family🤷🏽‍♀️ He rudely walked away even though I was still talking. Standing behind the desk he shouted across saying ‘I get paid to stand here’ I replied ‘people like me pay your wages’ which he replied ‘no one here pays for me’ I understand this manager is the owners son at the end of the day it’s us customers who give our services to them which shows we do help pay their wages. Despite this we still sat and ordered our food. Our drinks came to the table I simply asked the waiter where the other manager was, the lady with an Afro came waving her arms in between me and the waiter telling him to go do his job aggressively. Turning to me she said ‘drop the topic now and leave it’ and attend to other people other than us...not even knowing about what the conversation consisted off she still thought it was okay to intervene. We simply walked out as we rather go to a place where our services are valued not a place where they think to much of themselves due to a refurbished place serving frozen food for a better taste too much money too much problem some people get get there head from there toes and own a place called a business makes me laugh do you research customers satisfaction is at it it’s utmost best no customers no money no driving nice cars and raving...
