Was looking for somewhere different to have lunch on a recent visit to Chester, and was wondering whether to try this place when a very nice waitress saw me and invited me in! The restaurant has an attractive rustic interior with exposed brick walls and cosy booths. Plenty of tables outside too. There was a lovely relaxed ambience about the place and the staff were friendly, charming and attentive. I was offered a glass of water as soon as I sat down, and my meal was served very quickly. They do mostly pizzas but the menu also includes antipasti, salads and pasta dishes. The pizzas are huge, but the staff will happily box up what you can't eat to take away. Ordered the What's the Catch sourdough pizza topped with tuna, spinach, mozzarella, red onions, sweet drops red peppers and kalamata olives, with a small side salad of rocket, sun-dried tomatoes, parmesan and balsamic dressing. It came with a pizza wheel for me to slice it up myself. The pizza was cooked to perfection in a traditional clay oven. Wonderful flavours. Salad was fresh and also very tasty. Enjoyed a glass of lovely Italian rose wine with my meal, and finished with a nice latte. The lunch was not cheap but it was worth every penny. Would definitely recommend Urbano 32 and would...
Read moreStaff where super friendly, the lady serving us told us about the tip we could do but said we could take it off if pleased which made us feel like we had a lot more freedom, we tipped the 10% because she definitely deserved a tip, when we got the bill I wrote "good service and the Waiters where pretty" and when leaving she was smiling ear to ear, which shows they're greatful and happy people, the food was also amazing, we ordered 2 pizza's and step-mom got an alcoholic drink and a shot, we all enjoyed the food and she enjoyed the drinks she had, the pizza was cooked perfectly, even I, someone who doesn't like pizza, ate about 3-4 slices of pizza because it was so good and that's something considering my ASD makes me a rather fussy eater, so from that point of view from ASD, the food had no weird textures, it did have a starchy bottom which is what I have issues with on pizza but even the starch was good, it didn't stick to my hands like most starch does meaning it was made a lot better than how some other pizza's are made
So my overall opinion would be that this place is amazing and I would definitely recommend for people who have a liking for pizza or those who want to try...
Read moreWow, oh wow. Oh wow, what an experience this was a little thing off because we were looking for somewhere really nice to be and we looked at all these big chain Italian restaurants and all the other ones this one stood out it didn’t fit the traditional sense of an Italian restaurant, but it executed it. Amazingly, it was more like an artisan coffee shop when you went in with all steampunk, copper pipes and very filament lights so it was very dark and cosy inside we got stuck sat on some of the high chair is next to the bar, but that still give us enough room to have multiple pizzas and some dough dough sticks. It was an experience and a half feet in there and I would 100% go back just for this and so it was one of the best experiences for food. I’ve had in awhile I’m a bit of a food critic, and this takes all of my boxes. When we got talking to some of the stuff, they seem really happy and passionate to talk about it, not like they were forced to say anything. It seem like a really happy place to work and also be a part of
Thanks for amazing evening...
