Nestled in the vibrant and bustling area of The Lanes, Brighton, Bath Arms is a charming pub that offers a delightful experience for locals and visitors alike. The first thing that struck me about Bath Arms was its inviting and cosy atmosphere. The pub's rustic decor, with its wooden beams and warm lighting, creates a welcoming ambience that instantly makes you feel at home. Whether you're seeking a place to relax after a long day of exploring Brighton or looking to catch up with friends over drinks, Bath Arms provides the perfect setting. The pub's selection of beverages is impressive, with a variety of beers, ales, wines, and spirits to suit every taste. The well-stocked bar ensures that you'll find something to quench your thirst, whether you're a connoisseur or simply looking for a refreshing drink. The staff behind the bar are friendly and knowledgeable, always ready to recommend a new brew or engage in conversation. In addition to the great drinks, Bath Arms also offers a menu of pub classics and comforting dishes. From hearty burgers to traditional fish and chips, the food is tasty and satisfying. The portions are generous, and the quality of ingredients is evident. The pub also caters to dietary preferences and offers vegetarian and vegan options, ensuring that everyone can find something to enjoy. The service at Bath Arms is generally attentive and efficient. The staff members are friendly and create a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. However, during peak hours, the pub can get quite busy, and the waiting time for orders may be slightly longer. Nonetheless, the overall experience remains positive, and the staff does their best to accommodate guests. One aspect that sets Bath Arms apart is its location in The Lanes. This charming and historic part of Brighton is known for its narrow streets, quirky shops, and lively atmosphere. Bath Arms serves as a great starting point or resting spot during a day of exploring the area, allowing you to immerse yourself in the unique charm of The Lanes. In summary, Bath Arms is a charming pub located in the heart of Brighton's lively Lanes. With its inviting atmosphere, wide selection of beverages, and comforting pub food, it offers a delightful experience for locals and tourists alike. Whether you're seeking a relaxing drink or a satisfying meal, Bath Arms is well worth a visit.

Old style pub situated in the south lanes of Brighton. When entering, the property has character but when sitting down the ambiance is disappointing. Be aware of the so called “drinks promotions” black board prominently positioned at the bar promoting discounted drinks Monday to Thursday. When asking for this so called promotional offer, was told an app has to be downloaded to obtain the discount! This is not mentioned on the blackboard and I wander what people do without a phone despite clearly advertising promotional drinks. After 15 minutes loading the app, registering and then going to the bar with it, the staff member failed to make the scan code from this app work so the price of the drink was a higher full price rather than the displayed discounted price. This is extremely poor and also very misleading to customers. To make matters worse, the price on the app for promoted drinks was cheaper on the app than the prices on the board! Doesn’t matter though because don’t expect to pay promotional prices. The only pub I have ever known to use this procedure to obtain a discounted drink! Not recommended. Plenty of better pubs in the area-that do not mislead customers.

An all-round successful visit to the Bath Arms in Brighton! We had burgers with fries and fish and chips - and both were absolutely delicious. The burger was juicy, cooked to perfection and served with crispy chips. The fish and chips were also a highlight: wonderfully crispy batter, tender fish and a generous portion - just as you would expect in a British pub. We would particularly like to emphasise the excellent service. The staff were super friendly, attentive and really took the time to make sure we were comfortable. A last-minute change to our order was completely uncomplicated and was accepted with a smile - a real plus point that you don't find everywhere. The ambience in the Bath Arms is also very inviting: cosy, typically British, with a classy touch. You immediately feel welcome, whether you are a tourist or a local. We can highly recommend this pub - great food, excellent service and a relaxed atmosphere. We will definitely be back on our next visit to Brighton!

I've resided in Brighton since 2016 and, while frequently passing the pub in The Lanes, I'd never entered due to its uninviting exterior. However, today my perspective shifted. Facing a disappointing afternoon and having skipped breakfast, I decided to dine here. I was immediately greeted with a warm welcome from the bartender, Tommy (Thomas). As breakfast wasn't served, I ordered cheese fries. My expectations for service in a pub/restaurant setting were low, but Tommy ensured my comfort, providing everything I needed. The coffee was strong, but acceptable. My substantial and well-presented portion of fries was a pleasant surprise. The chef, equally friendly and welcoming, deserves commendation. Following a cancelled appointment, I returned for a drink. My day improved significantly. Tommy introduced me to a cost-saving app and assisted with its setup. Both Tommy and the chef provided exceptional service; Tommy's approachable, friendly, attentive, and informative approach exemplifies gold-standard customer care.

This is the most relaxed and most productive I have been since my medical diagnosis. Thank you...
