The Newland Tap has a good range of beers, larger and cider. There are no hand-pulled cask conditioned ales, but there are plenty of craft beers on offer on tap and in cans. It is a great place to try beers you won't find elsewhere locally. It's a nice cosy modern bar with a real community feel. The staff and customers are very friendly and welcoming. It's a bar, not a pub, no pool or darts, but there are a lot of board games, so i am not comparing it with a pub, and as such, it is one of the best bars around. I really liked it and will be back....

I found a creative part of me I thought died in burnout, rekindled. The rhubarb cider I had was excellent.
