Most places undercook bacon leaving the rind white and chewwy, but not Hemmingways; the rind is brown and crisp! I thought places like this in London were the worst, but congratulations Hemingways for providing the worst value for money I've experienced in many years (I travel 15 days a month to various cities, so I have a large bank of reference establishments). What a complete and utter rip off. If I hadn't been in a rush I would have made my feelings known directly to the manager, whom I'm hoping would have felt appropriately embarrassed...
Read moreI'm doing a Postgraduate Pathway, at the nearby Liverpool John Moores University Faculty of Health, and found this little, "Nuggett", purely by chance. It's inconspicuous in its Location, but wow, what an absolute hidden Gem. Love its Funky Decor and Background Music. It's a Cafe AND Bar which puts on Live Gigs, and has Open Mic and Open Vinyl Nights. Staff are brilliant, as is the Customer Service.
