A bit of a tale how we ended up eating here and not regretting it at all...
We originally ordered a delivery via UberEats to our university last night on a Saturday evening. The rider had given our order to a wrong customer. We rang the restaurant and they said that though it was not their fault, they would be happy to send a replacement once an alternative rider can be arranged.
Well, the rider had disappeared. We had waited around for more than 40 minutes and now we were really hungry, so we rang ahead and decided to eat at the restaurant.
Such generosity of service would be worthy alone of praise, but ultimately the place exists to feed people, and that surpassed our expectations too.
I eat a fair amount of Lebanese food, and so was really impressed by the quality and quantity offered here. I had lamb shawarma with the rice. My companion had mixed shawarma with rice, all accompanied with hummus and fattoush salad. The rice comes with vermicelli.
The staff accommodated our request for some slices of lemon. Everything was prompt and fuss free. The venue is airy with high ceilings, clean and straightforward.
Just be aware there is only one toilet available in the basement in case you come when really busy.
We were really impressed by the food and service considering their loss, and intend to hold a group event here in the...
Read moreWe went for dinner tonight with our little dog, and they couldn’t have been more welcoming. We weren’t sure if pets would be allowed, but they seated us at a lovely table without any hesitation. We even mentioned they could sit us apart from other clients, but they assured us it was no problem.
The food arrived beautifully presented and in generous portions—everything was absolutely delicious! The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, especially Mahmoud, who made our experience even better. At the end of our meal, they surprised us with a complimentary (and delicious!!) selection of desserts, which was such a nice touch.
Given that it’s located in a busy area like Covent Garden, I have to say the quality and prices were fantastic. I would highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely bring friends and family here when they visit London. Can’t wait...
Read moreI love Lebanese and Turkish food. I regularly visit different establishments for this type of fare. Its decor is ok, unoffensive. The staff could be warmer and friendlier. Especially as it was quiet. What got low points was serving dry tasteless chicken on the hummus shwarma. When it was first served, it was returned as it was cold and tasted old. It was reheated, probably in a microwave and I left most of it. I did feed back and was told they use 'chicken leg meat' hence why it was dry, tasteless and tough. Which made no sense. It was dry because it was clearly old. The rest was good but as i was ill a few hours later that evening and the next day from food poisoning. Its a 1. There are so many great options like this in London, its a shame. But there is no excuse to serve such poor food to anyone and still charge for it despite it being returned. I...
