HEYTEA Canary Wharf – Where Tradition Meets Innovation in Every Sip
Tucked away in the vibrant heart of Canary Wharf, HEYTEA brings a refreshing slice of modern China to London. With roots tracing back to a small alley in Jiangbianli, China, this iconic tea brand has revolutionised how we experience tea – and their Canary Wharf location proudly upholds that legacy.
From the moment I stepped in, I was welcomed by sleek, minimalist interiors and the soothing scent of fresh tea leaves. The energy was calm yet buzzing, perfectly balancing tradition and trend.
I ordered the Coconut Mango Boom and was absolutely blown away. Rich, velvety coconut milk layered with juicy mango purée and chewy boba – every sip was tropical bliss. It’s clear HEYTEA is deeply committed to using only premium ingredients. The drink wasn’t just a treat; it was an experience.
What makes HEYTEA stand out is its philosophy. Born from a small 30 sqm shop, the brand dared to dream big. They took ancient Eastern tea traditions and infused them with modern creativity – all while maintaining authenticity. From their signature Cheese Tea to innovative blends like mine, each cup is thoughtfully crafted to inspire.
Staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and took time to make recommendations, enhancing the entire visit. Whether you’re a tea lover or just curious, HEYTEA is more than just a drink stop – it’s a cultural moment.
Highly recommend visiting HEYTEA Canary Wharf if you’re looking to discover something fresh, flavorful, and...

HEYTEA has been on my list of stores to visit for a few months now. Whenever I walk past their SOHO branch it is always busy with a big queue outside the store. I was recently in Canary Wharf and discovered they have a store there too which was quiet when I arrived.
Firstly, the service was great, the staff are friendly and took my order promptly. The store has a small tv monitor to display your order number to show when your drink is ready. The staff also call out your number when your drink is ready.
I ordered the Coconut Mango Boom which costs £5.90. The Coconut Mango Boom is a mango drink which consists of mango and sago jelly pieces. The mango and coconut flavours in this drink match perfectly and tastes amazing, the mango and sago jelly adds extra mango goodness and texture whilst enjoying the drink. I absolutely love this drink, it is cool and refreshing on a hot day!
Overall, I highly recommend HEYTEA and the Coconut Mango Boom! I really enjoyed my first visit to HEYTEA and I hope they continue to expand in the UK and keep the amazing quality! A must visit for all coconut mango sago lovers in London! I will...
Read moreExtremely disappointing experience at Heytea today. My friend and I arrived just past opening at around 11:05am, only to be told they weren’t open yet, even though it was already five minutes past. We were among the first customers and ordered the coconut matcha cloud bobo, which they said would take 15 minutes because the boba wasn’t ready. We came back after 15 minutes, only to be ignored while they continued serving people who ordered after us.
After standing there for further 15 minutes, we asked about our order. The staff looked confused and embarrassed, and clearly hadn’t even started on it. Then came an unprofessional argument between two staff members in another language, which made the situation even more uncomfortable. Eventually, a female staff member tried to cover it up by saying now the matcha wasn’t ready and would take ANOTHER 15 minutes despite the fact that we’d literally just watched them make multiple matcha drinks for other customers.
There were no apologies and we were told to either wait another 15 minutes or get a refund. We...
