A short walk from the Tower of London and the Thames. We visited when a Norwegian ship was moored next to HMS Belfast. Part of a N.A.T.O. excersize, not something you see everyday. Extremely friendly staff, nothing was too much trouble.. Dog friendly, Dog parties available !!. We were the only people with a dog, a very small Pomeranian. No smell of dogs could be smelt. The brewery is in the building and you can see the process yourself. They even have a board telling you what they are brewing. Another great experience. The food was gorgeous, We opted for the burger and flight of four 1/3 pint beers, I chose the, Punk I.P.A., Hazy Jane, Elvis Juice and a Black Heart. This is the ideal introduction into the different types of beers on tap. Larger, and Cider drinkers are well catered for, plus low alcohol drinks for anybody driving. If you fancy a game, Three Shuffle board tables are available. BrewDog go out of their way to bring fantastic tasting beers and truly unique interiors to their establishment's. This gives you such a great opportunity to see a completely different perspective to the normal, run of the mill establishment's. I do love this idea, as it brings great conversation to an already intriguing environment. I would like to add a big, Thank You for your great efforts in entaintaing us.

I like BrewDog and they have a great range of beers to satisfy all I presume, as I only drink lager anyway!!! I went for lunch and have to say that although the staff are very nice and polite they are not very on the ball. We wanted to eat and asked what we needed to do about a table? The guy whom I guess was the equivalent of a maitre d said that there were people with their names before us and it would be a wait. I said but there are boths that can easily sit 6 with only 2 people in them, he said if you want to ask if you can share go ahead, so I did and we were seated instantly. Doesn't take a genius to work out that when there are people waiting you should tell diners that they need to share! So to the food, I had the buffalo chicken burger with sweet potato fries and my colleague had the burger with bacon and cheese. My chicken burger had a decent amount of chicken in it but unfortunately it just didn't have much taste and therefore a bit disappointing. My colleague liked her burger and said it was tasty but as I didn't get any so can't comment. However, I did note that it was well done where I prefer my burgers to be medium e.g. pink in the middle! My opinion, the food looks better than it taste unfortunately but great beer.

ALL ABOARD THE SPICE TRAIN! Went with a colleague today for Wing Wednesdays. First batch were 10 and we went buffalo. Didn’t think they’d be that hot but oooof they pack a punch. Covered in a hot sauce which will get rid of any colds or flu in a hurry. After the first batch my lips were tingling. I’d done a pint of coke and I wasn’t sure if I could carry on. The wings themselves were big and weighty. We then switched to the Korean bbq and each round after the first batch of 10 is of 5. These weren’t spicy and lacked a bit of something. My colleague ended up going one more round and got the dragon spice ones which are essentially like salt and pepper rub. He said they were possibly the best out of all of them. Service was prompt and they give you a red button to press when you want more. Note they are cooked to order. We spent about an hour in there. The batches of five had less meat on them. Not sure if that’s because of the style of rub or what but was noticeable. Overall wing Wednesdays got a thumbs up but if you’re not good with spice overall you may want to look elsewhere. Would go again

Firstly, I don’t want the poor service score to reflect the staff - they were lovely, polite and helpful. The reason for the low score here was the policy. I went specifically for Wing Wednesdays but my companion didn’t like the mess of eating wings and wanted to order a burger and fries. We were told we couldn’t do this as the other members of the party might eat the wings which were unlimited. How ridiculous. I can understand if a party of three comes in and only one orders unlimited wings and the others order nothing. But he ordered a whole meal. What is the risk exactly? And even if he did try one wing, which he had no interest in, what is the loss to the business - a chicken wing. You charge almost £8 a pint! Someone needs to seriously re-evaluate this silly rule.

I ended up having to just order a standard plate of wings and couldn’t access the Wingman pint offer. I think this just feels greedy.

The wine glasses were also filthy and could have used a wipe down before they were given to us. But the wine was nice and reasonably priced.

Other than that the food was good, as always, service was great and...
