Yalla Beirut, Lebanese Restaurant, Tower Hill — Restaurant in London

Subject - check/ask what they are going to charge and how much before you actually pay your bill۔ This is my 2nd visit، first went well on 14th February 2024۔ ignored few things previously، like floor and furniture is quite slippery۔۔ a smell of raw meat around۔۔۔ because we were hungry and liked food۔۔ the host was really amazing، we were charged exactly what we were expecting۔ Today، on 8th August، decided to go back for my sons birthday، had same smell، smell furniture and floor۔۔۔ didn't mind۔ when paid، the waitress، who served us، added some extra charges on the bill۔ we asked for recipiet، found some service charges، we left confused،as we were about to catch the bus in a minute۔ I called and spoke to someone and asked him to explain me what service charges are، which apperantly she took as her TIP۔۔ she told us to pay، we paid and left in hurry۔۔ person ان phone didn't really convinve me but carried on saying، you should have told her to remove۔ I kept saying، I wasn't given the option she asked to pay and kept her tip۔ is matter of 5 to 6 quids but really disappear in Today with how she just took the money ۔ really rude۔۔ wont go...

Terrible Customer Service - Avoid at All Costs

We had an absolutely awful experience at this restaurant. After a long and tiring day in central London, our family of 8 adults and 2 children came here hoping for a relaxing meal. Instead, we were met with shocking behavior from the manager.

The manager refused to take our order unless we committed to ordering more food than we wanted. Despite ordering a reasonable amount for our group, he insisted that it wasn’t “worth the table service” and demanded we order nearly half the menu before he would serve us. To make matters worse, we were the only customers in the restaurant at the time, so it wasn’t even busy.

This kind of treatment is completely unacceptable. The manager’s attitude was rude, dismissive, and clearly focused only on squeezing as much money as possible from us rather than providing decent customer service. We left feeling disrespected and extremely disappointed.

If you value good service and a pleasant dining experience, avoid this place at all costs. Terrible management, terrible service, and an overall horrible experience.
