Read moreDuring my visit to Cafe Diana, I had a mixed experience with regards to the food quality and service provided. While the food itself was satisfactory, the poor service significantly affected my overall impression of the establishment.
To begin with, I encountered difficulties with the service. I had to place my order twice as the lady attending to me seemed to forget what I had initially requested. This lack of attentiveness and forgetfulness caused unnecessary delays and frustration during my dining experience.
Furthermore, I was disappointed when my food was brought to the table without any cutlery or napkins. This oversight on the part of the staff showed a lack of attention to detail and left me unprepared and inconvenienced.
Additionally, the staff's failure to inquire whether I had finished my meal before collecting the dishes was another service issue that needs attention. This lack of consideration for the guests' dining experience and basic courtesy was disappointing.
Overall, while the food quality at Cafe Diana was acceptable, the poor service significantly impacted my overall experience. It is crucial for the establishment to address these service issues and improve their attention to detail, staff attentiveness, and guest satisfaction.
I hope that Cafe Diana takes this feedback constructively and works towards enhancing their service quality. By addressing these issues, they can provide a more enjoyable and memorable experience for...
Read moreFour of us went to Cafe Diana on Saturday 6th April. We had seen videos on instagram about it and as one of our party is a fan of Diana we thought it’d be a fun place to go for breakfast. The waiter thought it smart/ impressive to memorise the order instead of writing it down. When he repeated it back to us it was incorrect but we corrected him and hoped for the best. Food took over thirty minutes to arrive even though barely half the tables were full. The food is basic so it made no sense that it would take so long. When it did finally arrive it was incorrect. One person was missing a lentil soup, another person was missing a sausage, and another had the incorrect fillings in their toasted sandwich. The base of the baked potatoes also tasted like cleaning chemicals, as if the fridge they’d been sitting in hadn’t been washed down properly. At this stage we had been waiting so long and were so hungry and unimpressed that we just ate what was provided and left. (We made sure we weren’t charged for these missing items). The bathroom was disgusting, so I dread to think what the kitchen area might look like. There was also no music/ radio playing which meant it was severely lacking in atmosphere. Avoid at all costs. Really put a dampener on the start of our...
