Clipper Lounge EMB — Restaurant in London

I booked an afternoon tea for two at the Clippers Lounge EMB, and I chose it because afternoon tea with a river view, why not!

From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted by Brayoni, who showed us to our reserved seating. She was incredibly attentive, explained everything to us, and made sure to check in throughout. The chilled ambience, music, and stunning river views, especially at night were absolutely on point.

Elijah and Cheryl were also very welcoming and attentive, and what really impressed us was that even the supervisor, Kywan, came over to make sure everything was going well. You don’t usually get that level of attention unless there’s an issue, so it really showed how much they care about their guests. Overall, the whole team went above and beyond with their customer service, and we’re so grateful.

We felt so relaxed that we even had a little dance, lost track of time, and didn’t want to leave! Honestly, all afternoon teas should be like this. The food was fresh, the price was excellent value, and the whole experience exceeded expectations.

I came to an engagement, baby shower and birthday party rolled into one and it was an enjoyable evening. I haven't been on a boat that many times in my life and so this was a unique environment for me. The clipper lounge is permanently docked at embankment so it's extremely easy to get to and it's not too far away from the station, it's literally just across the road. The clipper rocks a bit so if you get a little sea sick then it may take some time to adjust. The atmosphere on the boat was amazing, it's quite big, I think it can hold 100 + people no problem. The service was impeccable, any time I needed a drink, the staff was incredibly quick to get to me. Whenever I was on the table, staff would clear the table of items so the tables are always nice and clean. The staff were fantastic. The food was lovely as well. I attended clipper lounge for my mum’s birthday and was warmly welcomed by Jasmyn, Bee and Finley - we were alittle confused as to how the boats run and when I explained to these lovely ladies about out concerns and how I wanted to make my mums birthday special, they were so attentive! I told them my mum was a pastors wife and they made us a beautiful Mocktail then all 3 ladies surprised us with a cake and lit candle and sang for my mum. I could have cried tears of joy as I knew that meant a lot to my mum. We told them we spoke French and they played us some French music and we had a dance which really made it such a vibe. At this point I even forgot we were waiting to catch the boat as we were having so much fun so decided to get a later boat.
