Ordered a cake for a baby shower and the name written on the cake ended up being wrong! And no effort was made to correct it and they said it can't be done unless we stressed how important it was and then a temporary cone was made and written in a messy way. Then, had to erase it and I had to do it myself to correct it. It was such a hassle as we called in earlier to keep them ready as we were in a rush already! No refund was even attempted for the wrongness done about the message on the cake! They did offer cookies for the wrongness but it isn't good customer service for a shop in central London when such a mess was made and the amount of time it took to get it sorted about the spelling in the first place! After all this we got the cake and left the shop and the cake just fell off the box when carrying the cake. The packaging was that terrible. We didn't go back to the shop as we were already late for the event, atlast we ended up going without a cake to the event which was so embarrassing!!! They should make an effort to make proper packaging for such expensive cakes and pack it within a good sized bag and not just a box alone. After all this effort and time and cost, the cake wasn't of any use because of its cheap packaging. There are several other great cake shops in central London with better service, delivery and packaging than here. Wouldn't recommend ordering any large cakes. Having stopped to sit in the sunshine and enjoy afternoon tea I am disappointed to say that what should have been a lovely afternoon did not turn out as expected.

And this was entirely the fault of your waiter.

After we sat down the waiter finally arrived. He the took the order quickly and rushed off before allowing me to finish what I was saying. He was very dismissive and rude.

Once we had finished I asked the waiter for the bill and also to see the manager. I wanted to speak to the manager about a beggar, who was displaying antisocial behaviour and who was not good for business.

I can only imagine that the waiter thought I was going to complain about him and he became rude and argumentative. He said I had a bad attitude and he had to be calmed down by another of his colleagues. He was sent inside to prevent a scene.

Although I paid the bill in full, including the service charge, I left feeling upset by the appalling way I was treated.

I really hope you can take these concerns seriously and take the necessary action to ensure that this does not happen to anybody else.

The food is great here and i love this place.

But the waiter that day was unfortunate for us as the service was so bad if it was my first time there I would not recommend it nor come there again

We asked to be seated on a bigger table as we planned to order a couple of plates more. She refused and seated us near the door. Note that the place was not crowded only us and 3 other customers and it was time where people are lining up to order lunch boxes takeaway (we are next to the door)

When our order came to the table it only fit 2 plates and our coffee. Then she proceeded to grab our personal stuff from the table without asking permission (glasses and phone) and handing it to us

I told her can we change table again she refused

Still we had an order not given to us as the table too small to take it.

I would understand if she was like following policy that two persons be seated in small table

But the tables where empty, its not rush hour and to seat two persons after us in the table we asked before
