First time visit to a Five Guys and very disappointed. This restaurant was chosen over Shake Shack and Gordon Ramsey in same locale due to positive reviews. The visit was a planned part of a special family day out for our 10 year old daughter. Firstly, the server was average with no greeting and we received no instruction on where to collect our food, drinks or shakes. We had to figure this one out ourselves. Seemed only interested in taking our money. Same with the famous peanuts...our daughter's milkshake had been waiting ages when we figured this out.... We then looked for a seat and found a table for 2 downstairs and squeezed the 3 of us in. The toilets were disgusting. The gents were filthy and the cubicle I visited ( I have a medical condition which means I need to access cubicles) had toilet paper on the floor and the door was missing the hook which meant I had to hang my clothing on the door handle which then fell onto the dirty floor every time another customer tried the handle. The ladies toilet my daughter went into had no functioning lock on the cubicle and the door had to be held shut by a stranger. There was no toilet paper in her cubicle either. The food however was good, tasty but the dog was very small for the price paid and looked like it had been sat on. Overall, we paid £53 for 2 burgers, 1 dog, 2 Fries, 1 shake and 2 soft drinks. I appreciate we were in central London but the level of service, presentation, ambience and feel good factor were shocking. Sadly we all agreed we more than likely will go...

Food: The burgers are the star here — juicy, customizable, and packed with flavor. Whether you go with a classic cheeseburger or load it up with bacon and grilled mushrooms, the ingredients taste fresh and high-quality. The portion sizes are generous; a “regular” burger comes with two patties, so come hungry. Their fries — cooked in peanut oil — are crispy, golden, and served in heaping portions. Cajun-style fries are a spicy favorite for many. Don’t skip the complimentary peanuts while you wait!
Service: Service is typically fast and friendly, though it can vary depending on how busy the location is. Staff are usually upbeat, efficient, and happy to walk you through their menu if it’s your first time. Food is made to order, so there's a bit of a wait, but it’s rarely unreasonable. Expect a clean environment and a well-maintained kitchen area in full view of customers.
