Authentic Malaysian Tamil food the streetfood way! . This was my first time trying Malaysian Tamil food and I have to say - I'm a fan now! Their huge Thosai pancake with chutney and sambar is one to try for the experience but they are popular mainly for their rotis which are freshly prepared in front of you. You can have them with different curries and we opted for beef rendang. . Another highlight for me were the prawn noodles that ticked ALL my favourite flavour boxes. I'd also recommend getting their banana leaf meal which features meat of your choice (we went for fried chicken) served with rice, two vegetable sides, crispy papadum and chutneys. They also have veggie and vegan options. You can find Gopal’s corner at Market Halls in Oxford Circus, Canary Wharf and Victoria. . We tried: Beef Rendang Roti Plain Thosai with chutney and sambar Banana Leaf Meal with Fried Chicken Mee Goreng Mamak - prawn noodles Sweet Roti with Banana . 📍Locations: Victoria, Oxford Circus, Canary Wharf 🚇Closest station: Victoria, Oxford Circus, Canary Wharf 🙌Overall rating: 9/10 💰Price: £25pp for what we had...

I recently had the opportunity to try Gopal's Corner for the first time, and I was very impressed. I ordered the masala thosai, which is a thin crepe made with fermented rice and lentil batter, filled with potatoes, onions, and spices. It was served with a side of sambar (a lentil and vegetable stew) and chutney.
The thosai was absolutely delicious. The crepe was thin and crispy on the outside, and soft and fluffy on the inside. The filling was flavourful and well-balanced, and the sambar and chutney were the perfect accompaniments.
Overall, I was very impressed with Gopal's Corner. The food was delicious, the service was friendly, and the prices were reasonable. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a taste of...
