Absolutely never going back. Upon arriving into restaurant was greeted by a lady. I asked her for a table for one. I was ushered to a sit opposite door and was not given no menu. Then not long after a English gentleman walked in and sat next to me and was given a menu straight away. I'm not one to pull the race card but my experience there was not great. I called the staff for a menu and was ignored. The English gentleman noticed I was being ignored and offered me his menu. They eventually gave me a menu. I ordered a cappuccino, traditional breakfast and apple juice. The breakfast was lukewarm, cappuccino was warm. The staff spoke to me like they could not understand me, as if I was speaking a different language. I was speaking clearly! I sent back the cappuccino and even that took explaining that the drink was lukewarm. I eventually got back a somewhat warmer drink. Overall the food is over priced the stuff treat tourists and anyone that is of a certain race with the up most respect. While the customer service for a black woman is 0%. I will NEVER GO there again and will be sharing this all over...

Hatch 77 absolutely tops it as far as breakfasts go. I had the Big Ben breakfast and I can honestly say it’s the best breakfast I’ve ever had. Nothing else even comes close. Everything was cooked fresh and it was completely faultless – crispy fries, runny eggs, perfectly cooked bacon and sausages. Every bite was incredible. If I had to pick a last meal, this would be it without question.

The staff were so friendly and welcoming. Even with a 20 minute wait for a table, they kept us informed and made us feel looked after the entire time. It’s no surprise that people were lining up behind us and happily waiting. This place deserves all the praise it gets.

What made it even better was how close it is to Victoria station. We had a National Express coach back to Swansea at 12pm and this was the perfect spot to fuel up beforehand. The breakfast was so good I couldn’t resist trying one of their jam donuts I’d seen in the window. Just like the breakfast, absolutely divine.

I genuinely can’t...

Cozy ambiance, good use of interior and exterior. Good light and comfy seating. However they might need to sort out their ventilation systems because customers were sweating in tshirts on a rainy day with main door open. I also felt like I smelled of breakfast after I left. Breakfast menu is extensive. Food might sound slightly pricey yet portions are large. Although it is not super quality, you might get higher expectations from the menu. You might also want to alert staff how you like your eggs/omelette or toast if it is important because they wouldn't ask. Staff are welcoming at the door. They aren't the most knowledgeable about menu items however they would go and learn what certain items are of how they're cooked and come back to you quickly. Coffee is great, oatmilk option is available, had an excellent oat milk cappuccino. Nice little spot in the area, might get a bit noisy with the customers seated close to you. I would go if I lived in the area however wouldn't go out of my...

Hatch 77 is a relatively new cafe and has been doing takeaway breakfast during the lockdown; it is based in a decent location in Pimlico between Sainsbury's superstore and the main shops in the area. There is indoor seating as well. It seems quite popular on Sundays. I decided to try the breakfast out; this is the first time I have ordered from here. All I wanted was a small breakfast bun. I went for the Bacon Butty Breakfast Bun - initially when they packed it in the takeaway bag, it appeared as though it was small and not worth the price (£4). However, when I got back home and tried it, I was pleasantly surprised - it hit the mark and was one of the best tasting ones in the area. It was a brioche burger bun and went perfectly with Brown Sauce. I highly recommend it; at another time, I am willing to try other things on the menu. I just had the Poached Eggs on Sourdough bread and ordered 2 sides of Baked Beans and Spinach. It was £10 altogether and the staff were friendly.
