Should’ve been 5 star for the food. But 1 star for now because of the service.
I ordered Brioche (thought they knew it was the bun I would like to have. Miscommunication here could be.) and the staff took it savoury French Toast which was made of brioche too.
Then the payment was taken right away! Fast enough that no one could modify any item and I just realised French toast was ordered.
Therefore, I asked her to change my item to Brioche bun and there was a guy (not sure if he’s senior staff or manager something whatever) came up saying their system had some problems and the refund couldn’t do at the moment. The item went to the kitchen straightaway.
He insisted I taking this French Toast not desired. That was not my food! I didn’t want it at all and even asking for the right one.
Thankfully, my friend stood up and said she could take it and order the brioche bun for me. (We both paid full price and there was no compensation.)
Later on, that guy came with the food and apologised insincerely. He kept saying it was the system’s problem and also at this moment we SHOULDN’T WASTE FOOD. IT HURT.
Alright, first of all, he didn’t respect customers’ rights and secondly he emotionally blackmailed me.
I just wanna my food and this is NOT MY PROBLEM. Not to mention there’s nothing to do with eco friendly or being green. You’re the restaurant please do your own job such as proceeding refunds or changing the food if customers require.
And also that guy took advantage of my friend’s good intention for helping her friend. This was so not fair and I felt sorry for my friend. She took good care of my feeling while the staff not fixing any problem.
It’s the problem of your shop when it comes to refund or exchange. Not customers’s.
I was a loyal and regular customer to Pimlico Fresh ever since moving to London and sadly seeing this happened.
Hope people working here can find more practical ways to solve problems instead of emotionally...
Read moreI’ve been a customer of pimlico fresh since it opened as my Mum was a close friend of the owner. I came in today with my partner, sister in law and niece, and while the food was good as always, the service was extremely disappointing and upsetting. As the cafe was quite empty, we chose to sit at the larger table towards the back (the table has a sign stating that you must have at least 4 people to sit there, and we were a party of four)
I had avocado toast with feta and mint, and a smoothie, which were both lovely, and my partner had a mocha. Unfortunately when my sister in law ordered a vegan cake, she was given the wrong cake which was not vegan. When she went to swap the cakes, one of the staff members followed us back to the table and asked why she had ordered the cake for takeaway, she explained that she was saving it for later. This is when the staff member became aggressive and started telling us we weren’t allowed to sit at that table if we weren’t all eating, even though the cafe was empty and I was still in the midst of eating, and we were all drinking our various beverages. When we questioned this, the staff member slammed her hand on the table and became more aggressive, which led my sister in law to request a refund, which was contested by the staff member, we then finished our food quickly and left quite upset, especially considering the aggressive behaviour with a 3 year old at the table.
This was super disappointing as I was really excited to share this cafe with my family as it was a place I spent a lot of time at in my childhood, unfortunately it seems while the food is still great customer service has taken a huge downturn and I am sad to say I won’t...
Read morePimlico Fresh Cafe is a popular spot for locals and tourists alike, offering a delicious and varied menu of breakfast, lunch, and brunch dishes. I recently had the opportunity to try the cafe for myself, and I was very impressed.
For breakfast one morning whilst waiting for Tate Britain to open, I ordered the green eggs on avocado toast, which was absolutely delicious. The eggs were perfectly cooked and the pesto was rich and flavourful, the avocado was ripe and creamy, and the toast was perfectly toasted. The chili flakes added a nice kick of heat to the dish, and overall it was a very enjoyable meal.
The cafe also has a wide selection of other breakfast dishes, including pancakes, waffles, and omelettes. They also have a variety of lunch and brunch dishes, such as salads, sandwiches, and wraps.
Overall, I was very impressed with Pimlico Fresh Cafe. The food is delicious and well-prepared, and the service is friendly and attentive. The prices are also very reasonable. I would highly recommend Pimlico Fresh Cafe to anyone looking for a delicious and affordable...
