Mian 麵 — Restaurant in London

Since I was carrying 2 big boxes and 2 bags, I decided to leave my belongings on the chair beside me (which happened to be at another empty table), seeing that the restaurant was rather empty at dinner time as there was only one other table occupied. After my food was served, the owner came and ordered me to move my things to the chair in front of me, claiming that he needed the table for his customers, even though the restaurant was not even half-full, and interrupting the start of my meal. Reluctantly, I shifted my heavy belongings, yet when I finished my food, the table beside me was still empty. In fact, no one else had come in to sit at any table since I arrived. As a Taiwanese person, this place is not authentic at all. The noodles I got (veggie dry noodles) were literally just noodles and some cabbage (in the pictures it looked like there would be some veggie mince or at least some mushrooms) - and were way too salty. Feels like nobody in the kitchen has ever tasted Taiwanese dry noodles before, and I’ve basically paid 6 pounds for some carelessly put-together meal. The cabbage we ordered on the side also tasted like it had been fried in oil used to fry the popcorn chicken, you can taste it straight away. Great authentic vibes in the restaurant, had high expectations but takeaway special just let me down. The sauce was just to sticky and sweet. More cabbage than anything else. The advertised picture compared to what you got was super misleading. The chicken was more like popcorn chicken...The box was also covered in sauce which was frustrating as it had leaked from carrying it.

£12 for their bento box was reasonably priced but just didn't deliver anything special. I may try again for their sit down menu which looked quite interesting.
