As a Taiwanese person, this place is not authentic at all. The noodles I got (veggie dry noodles) were literally just noodles and some cabbage (in the pictures it looked like there would be some veggie mince or at least some mushrooms) - and were way too salty. Feels like nobody in the kitchen has ever tasted Taiwanese dry noodles before, and I’ve basically paid 6 pounds for some carelessly put-together meal. The cabbage we ordered on the side also tasted like it had been fried in oil used to fry the popcorn chicken, you can taste it straight away. Great authentic vibes in the restaurant, had high expectations but takeaway special just let me down. The sauce was just to sticky and sweet. More cabbage than anything else. The advertised picture compared to what you got was super misleading. The chicken was more like popcorn chicken...The box was also covered in sauce which was frustrating as it had leaked from carrying it.
£12 for their bento box was reasonably priced but just didn't deliver anything special. I may try again for their sit down menu which looked quite interesting.
