Pitcher & Piano Cornhill — Restaurant in London

We ordered a bottle of Chardonnay which was fine. We wanted the Caesar salad and were told there was no dressing recommendation to have Olive oil balsamic instead, which we agreed to. There were a few chopped up salad leaves, grated cheddar, cheese, tasteless, and in part unripe avocado, the appearance was abysmal that the flavour was non-existent. It was in fact, appalling excuse of a Caesar. I have ever seen in my life, such a poor excuse to not have Caesar dressing, and when I asked if we could have extra avocado as compensation, it wasn’t meant to favourably no problem however the quality was non-existent because I was with my friend I didn’t want to cause any fuss. If I was with any other company I would have refused point blank any payment. In fact I was embarrassed by what was served up, and the chef should also be embarrassed such a cheek and waste of money for something that probably cost 50p to produce its robbery and I should not have been charged for rubbish. I will be leaving another review on TripAdvisor and wherever else I need to because this type of service should not be allowed. Waitress was fine and friendly. I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Pitcher & Piano Cornhill. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The ambiance was perfect, making it the ideal place to relax and unwind.

A special shoutout to Laura Maria who served me – she was exceptional! Her attention to detail and friendly demeanor made the experience even more enjoyable. She was knowledgeable about the menu, offering great suggestions, and always made sure I had everything I needed without being overbearing. It’s clear she genuinely cares about making guests feel comfortable and valued.

The food and drinks were top-notch, and everything was served promptly and with care. I can’t wait to return and experience it all over again. Highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for great food, drinks, and stellar service!

For micro brewery I would read pub, and multiple outlet chain at that, so very corporate! I visited to attend a retirement function that was held in the downstairs section, which like it's upstairs counterpart is all very swish in its looks. However for an almost full bar there was only one member of staff working the bar, so very long waits for drinks etc. The buffet provided was all frozen to deep fried so not very healthy!
