Read moreVisited Plan Burrito on Southampton Row (near Great Ormond Street Hospital) for the 1st time today. Was at first greeted nicely by 1 gentleman who proceeded to give us the allergen menu as my partner has a lactose allergy. Throughout our process of ordering we noticed 2 other employees 1 male and 1 female were looking over at us, smirking and talking in their language so we couldnt understand what they were saying. The gentleman that was serving us then joined in with their conversation, looking at us and laughing amongst themselves. Even though we couldnt understand what they were saying it made us feel highly uncomfortable hence the 1 star for atmosphere and service. As we had already paid for our food we ignored them and continued with our order. At the end 1 of the male employees repeatedly told us to ensure we put up a review. So heres the review but with MY personal experience on how we was treated.
The food was nice nothing spectacular, the medium salsa is very nice and the burrito was nice. Very pricey for small portions - I would much prefer to go to Tortilla to be honest you get more for your money and it is still good quality food. Plan Burrito especially the London branch, needs to sort out their customer service, very...
Read moreWe had a terrible experience, not because of the restaurant, but because we got burglared there. The place has opened windows and anybody can see what's going on inside. You had to get up to order your burrito and choose your toppings, so we all stood up to do so. Two doggy guys walked in and pretended they were looking at the menu, then they left, but on the way they grabbed one of our backpacks which had a Mac laptop. My friend saw it and thank god he ran and managed to grab the backpack. My friend and the burglar were both pulling the bag. Nobody from the restaurant (neither people working there) moved a finger to help out. I called my boyfriend who went to help my other friend and the guy let the bag go and left running. The owners of the restaurant say that this happened before. So if you ever go here, please keep your belongings with you, burglars are around the area.
I think the owners should advise people about their belongings and they should change the layout of the restaurant so burglars don't keep coming there.
The food was alright, it was not as special as I thought it'd be, as it has 4.7. The regular burrito is OK sizewise, not huge either. The nachos are just simple doritos with a...
