I feel bad giving such a poor review since the service was decent but the food quality to price ratio was way off. You wouldn't think a restaurant calling itself Thali would be so expensive. Ordered an appetizer to share, a lamb dish and a veg dish and a single beer. Total bill ended up around £60, and the quality of food was 3.5 star at best.
The other thing that turned us off, but I can't fault the restaurant, is we felt very out of place. We were a middle aged couple looking for a nice indian restaurant. Pros: cheap food for Chelsea staff was apologetic for the wrong rice dish and did not charge anything for that dish...

The chicken was raw, but the owner kept saying it was a different way of doing korma, slow-cooked, which didnt make sense as it was raw. It was very unprofessional from the owner's side to treat us as we were stupid and believe that was the dish, which we know very well as we've had it in other indian restaurants. Very unprofessional and horrible behaviour of...
