The Manor Arms — Restaurant in London

Racist lady at the bar. We were a group of brown folks vistied on friday evening (16 May). We all gathered in the pub garden with intiial drinks as friends slowly arrive and then went inside the pub. Before we could settle inside and order drinks — the old lady at the pub kept asking in a hostile manner — “If you don’t wanna buy a drink please wait outside” and while some friends started buying drinks — she said “people in the back who aren’t buying drinks go outside” basically she just didn’t want us at the pub and it was really rude. For me personally this was the first time i observed a racist behaviour towards me in london which was honestly shocking. It made me write this review in the hopes that this behaviour is observed and in future it moves towards being a inclusive pub for all people.

Amazing place and very reasonably priced. Popped in with a group of 10, all on our second pints, when the lady behind the bar told us to leave if we weren’t buying more drinks immediately. We weren’t even allowed to stand and chat for a bit while deciding. We got kicked out by that groggy lady behind the bar who looked like a sack of potatoes with attitude.
