Not a good experience at all, it was hard to tell if the staff had no idea what they were doing or if it was just generally managed badly. Soo many things went wrong with my dining experience here .
No ribs & no calamari which is of course fine but the waitress was back and forth saying that they didn’t have the ribs, then came back and said there were two portions left only to come back a third time and say that there actually isn’t any left. Bad communication between staff& kitchen Drinks were good , however service was atrocious . Yes we were a decent sized group, but we had asked for water 3 times to different people only to never get any half an hour later. Every time we’d call over a waiter because we would’ve liked to have ordered more drinks, they would then say that they would be back but then would never come back Waitress took our order wrong, thought we had ordered 5 portions of fish and chips when in reality it was 2 and the other 3 were supposed to be the fish sandwiches. Then we had all received our food but the 3 other fish sandwiches took another 30 minutes to arrive so by then every one had finished eating what they could. Plus the waitress thought we had 5 portions of Mac and cheese when it was only 3. Mistakes are totally fine but she did not check over our order so it’s no surprise there were mistakes Mac and cheese was disgusting , the curry was the worst thing in the world . I’ve never seen a dry curry before and the naan was rock solid . The wagyu burger was also awful, it was burnt and hard. Onion rings were soggy and chips were either undercooked/ drenched in oil which is obvious by the photos I posted When I had complained and we received the bill. At first I thought everything was great, they took off the service charge, gave us a discount and also took the curry and burger off our bill ( because they were inedible). However , they did not take our £140 deposit off of the bill which to me is outrageous . How do you forget that we’ve already paid £140? Also to make it even worse , added onto the bill was two portions of ribs , which we never received because they didn’t have any and also a bottle of Malbec that we also didn’t receive because they didn’t have any in stock. To me this is just plain carelessness. How do you not check over the bill and take off the items we didn’t get?

We walked into the restaurant, asked to be seated inside because it was very hot outside. The waiter that came to take our order was clueless about the menu, he went to the kitchen to be able to answer our questions twice. Not a big problem we said, maybe he’s new.
A while later, we got the appetizers: aubergine dip and squid. The squid was oily and cold and it was quite hard to take a bite of the aubergine dip without gagging. So we decided to wait for the main course before judging the restaurant. An hour later, the food still didn’t arrive. We asked the waiter and he said that “they were waiting for us to finish the starters before getting the main course”. We asked for the main course to be brought out because we will not finish the starters. 15 mins (after the one hour of waiting) later, another waiter comes and tells us the “1 minute steak” that we ordered is not available, and if we want something else. We told her that they should have told us this when we first ordered. And then she kept responding with “it’s out of my control” so we asked to speak to the manager, who we thought would help us come to a solution.
This so-called manager, named “Agosto” walked towards us almost ready to start a fight. We explained the situation very calmly and he cut us off continuously to say “it’s our fault that we didn’t sit outside and there are way more people outside” and then with “we are very busy and all the other food is ready so just order something else”. Not once did he apologize, on the contrary he kept telling us it was our fault and that he is not stupid, he knows what time we arrived. Not once did he offer a reasonable solution to the restaurant’s mistake. We asked for the bill of the starters we ordered and walked out, very disappointed, very disrespected and no longer hungry after being disgusted with their starters and getting all angry.
Will never come here again and will absolutely not recommend it to anyone. Stay...

Butter with salt and mosquito dung - sign that they offer it to each and every customer until it gets black. The bread was from the toaster and felt old, probably this is why they did not serve it fresh. For the past 5 years, they did not improve the menu. There is practically nothing to choose from the menu. Today, I chose the lamb belly with potatoes. It came without bread. I could eat less than half of the plate since this food is very greasy. The bread I ordered arrived very late. The terrace was only served by an Italian woman while all the men of the restaurant were inside and not helping. I asked her to bring me the bill. She brought it discounting the bread from the price because I did not like the food, but she forgot to bring the machine for taking the money. As a woman alone, I had to wait for the 10 people at the table next to me to decide what they wanted to eat. I had no time to lose, so I had to go myself inside the restaurant and pay. The behaviour of this Italian woman waitress was very unmannered - this reflects how she is treated by her employer, the training she receives from her employer or previous ones. Probably, they employed her for the marketing and notoriety of the Italian food, but no Italian food is served there. With a false chit-chat, she tried to entertain the guests, but when it came to be really mannered and respect another woman, she did not. If you go alone in the restaurant, and you are educated and mannered, DO NOT LET YOURSELF SERVED BY PEOPLE LIKE HER! People like this do not deserve anybody's work.
