Went here for some food with over an hour to kill before our last coach at Victoria station. We let them know of our time frame and they warned us there would be a 20/25 min wait for food which was fine as we had the time, the coach station is only a 5 min walk away.
There can’t have been more than 5 tables in this pub having food, yet 25 mins was actually 45 minutes, we went and checked on the food and kept trying to make eye contact with staff as we wanted to just cancel the order and get a refund but they assured us that it would only take 2 more minutes (after 40 minutes of us waiting) when we finally got the food, 15 minutes before our coach was due to depart it was scorching hot, I burnt all my tastebuds just to get it down me but my partner couldn’t finish his food.
We ended up missing our last coach, completely fuming as it would have been completely fine for them to have told us that they didn’t think they’d be able to serve us within our time frame, or even to update us that the food waiting time was actually 45 minutes.
I work in a 2 story restaurant that’s fully booked for months in advance, I’ve witnessed 2 chefs serve everyone in a normal time frame. I have even worked for a very busy Greene king pub, in no way would this have been acceptable under my watch.
The staff were pleasant enough but the waiting time ruined our entire experience!!!!

Read more24th of September 2020 got told it was All table service... No app, why not ? Ordered 3 drinks then had to reorder the same drinks a second time from the same server because he clearly forgot,
Didn't even apologise or spoke to us and got someone else to charge us at the table.
So we stayed as mistakes happen, the second round of drinks they forgot 1 pint out of the three from the same server who wrote it down this time!!!
Shambles no one said sorry for the most basic mess ups.
I would actually like a refund waiting more than 20 minutes for the missing drink that you ordered twice from the same guy because he forgot 3 drinks (two of them was the same beer ....)
Close it down it's not worth your time. You're relying on trade but you can't even run a pub at table services and get drinks out on a quiet day.
1/10 don't go here. And fire that guy or management because clearly he was "trained" enough to be on the floor or take orders. Absolute joke.
We stayed for a couple more and didn't bother asking him to take our order and just looked out for someone else is competent enough to take our 3 pint drink order.
Would give 0 starts If I could because I left 10min after I arrived. I had this reservation booked for 10pm and was so excited to bring my family and show them a real London Pub because it was their first time here. As soon as I arrived (at 9:40, 20min before expected ) I saw a table with my name on it but there were already people there. I spoke with a girl from the bar staff about it and asked if she could clean the table we wanted to sit which she said okay. Came to clean it we said thank you several times that were ignored. After looking through the menu for 10min (in a table where the girl could see us) we were ready to order the food and went to till to do that. It was told that kitchen had been closed at 10pm. It was 10pm the time I was ordering so I asked since when has been closed which was told they take last orders at 9:45. I explained that in the website I chose the option of food and drinks and was replied with “we’ve sent you an email today about it” an email I obviously didn’t see from being in London with my family.
