Subject: Feedback on My Visit ā Positive Welcome, But Disrespectful Farewell
Dear Vault 139,
Iād like to share some honest feedback about my recent visit.
From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with warmth and outstanding customer service by the staff member at reception. That kind interaction meant a lot to me ā it was my first time going out alone in a long time, and I was facing personal challenges related to mental health. Arriving before 19:00 gave me time to enjoy the space while still fully dressed, which helped me feel comfortable and safe.
At 19:00, I decided to leave, proud of myself for making the effort and actually enjoying the experience. However, what followed left me feeling disappointed and disrespected.
When I went to collect my belongings, a staff member behind the counter threw the basket at me with clear frustration, which felt unnecessarily hostile. I remained silent, wanting to hold on to the positive feelings Iād gained.
Then, while I was in line to return the basket, another staff member abruptly snatched it from my hands, without saying a word or giving me the chance to return it properly to the kind receptionist who had welcomed me so well. The way it happened felt aggressive and dismissive.
This ending was in sharp contrast to how my visit began. I want to make it clear that I had done nothing wrong to warrant that kind of treatment. For someone like me, whoās slowly rebuilding confidence and re-entering queer social spaces, experiences like these can be deeply discouraging.
Please ensure all staff treat guests with dignity and care from beginning to end. I genuinely hope this was an exception, not the norm. Iād love to return, but only if I can trust that my presence will be met with the same respect I offered.
Kind...

The first time was a Sunday and the guy at the reception was really cute and sweet and the bartenders too were real sweethearts. I knocked back a few drinks, roamed about in my skivvies, got lucky with a few guys, overall a great experience.
The second time however, I came across the bespectacled man at the counter I'd read about in these reviews. The guy was rude, condescending and behaved as if I was bothering him by being there. After I entered, however, the rest of the staff were friendly, though not as nice as the first time I'd been there. I ignored the awful man for the rest of the evening. A similar experience the second time round too, and I went home satisfied.
Yes, it can get a little messy, and does smell of sex, but you know that it's going to be that way given the nature of the place!
A great, reasonable place overall, but I've knocked off one star for the rude man. It would have been a full 5 if I'd just visited that first time and never met this guy. Vault 139, if you're listening, please rid yourself of this man and just have the sweet, pleasant fellow there permanently. Unless the unpleasant man is the owner, in which case, please sell your business to someone else as you clearly aren't very...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI was punched in the face by another customer here last night. Unfortunately when I went get help from the manager he was very unhelpful. He dealt with me as if I was the problem. I was asking for help. After I identified the guy (who admitted what heād done immediately) the manager kept telling me he wasnāt going to call the Police. Correctly he told the guy who assaulted me to leave. When I told the manager I toi was going to leave because I didnāt feel safe. He said I couldnāt leave until I gave him my name and contact details. He persisted even though I told him my nose had started to bleed. I think it was because I was feeling dazed having been punched in the face but the manager kept saying Iām not going to call the police this has happened to you, repeatedly. It became very frustrating and because I was getting no help even though I was bleeding I decided to leave immediately. I told the manager he couldnāt stop me from bleeding. When I was checked over by the nearby hospital I was told I had mild concussion. That the damage to my nose was commensurate with a blow to my face. When asked how it happened I was asked why I hadnāt reported it to Police. My situation was made much worse by the way I was treated by staff. I didnāt feel safe. Iām glad...
