Five Guys Burgers and Fries Plymouth — Restaurant in Plymouth

This is what a fast food place should be like. I think this franchise will just go up like a rocket, if it will be properly managed. Time will tell.

Right, now with the review: first, you have a nice range of burgers to choose from with quality beef and buns, and, what's equally important, you have a really nice choice of toppings to put on your burger, to make it exactly as you would like it to be; then, the chips are above average, actually quite nice, with no comparison among other fast-food restaurants, using peanut oil which is almost a luxury for a fast-food, and the portions quite big; add to this the fact that you have free salt, pepper, mayo, ketchup and vinegar, the strive to please you is with out equal; drinks are a bit expensive, but at least you got free refills as much as you like with an absolute mind boggling variety; I haven't tried yet, but they have also "beef dogs" as they are calling them, I will definitely try them on next opportunity; also I haven't tried the breakfast products or the sandwiches; on the sandwiches they have a veggie option; what I think they are missing is a chicken burger, but you never know what future might bring.

In conclusion, this place is amazing, options for a life time, very friendly staff, open kitchen so you see everything going on, the wait for your order is a little longer than average fast-food but everything is cooked fresh in front of you if you care to watch, and the prices are a little higher than, again, average fast-food, but not too high, and for a very good reason. I love it and I can hardly wait to get...

Five guys fair is, generally speaking, banging. It's fresh, hot, tailored to exactly what you want and Plymouth generally delivers on taste. It is however pretty inconsistent. Not in quality but certainly in quantity and service. As a family of six we have visited a few times and had really quite a different experience each time. Portion sizes for instance vary greatly from visit to visit and we've had a couple of wrong orders (although they have been swiftly corrected). The menu is generally directed towards meat eaters with "regular" diets which is fair considering it's a burger joint but this proves tricky for families like us with veggies and a kiddo with Coeliac Disease. A vegan pattie and a gluten free bun offering would make the world of difference. It's also pretty grubby as fast food joints go. I've had to ask every time for someone to clean a table for us and there is always lots of food under the table. I just think they could do with someone on the floor keeping tables and floors clean at all times because although the facade is fast food, you are paying premium prices. This isn't McDonalds but I can assure you, any McDonalds would be cleaner and probably more efficiently run in terms of organisation and this is three times as expensive. All in all, good burgers but...

Wow! This is a simply amazing Team of girls and guys that just want to make the best Burgers, fries and shakes in the West, and make their customers smile, content and satisfied. Morgan went out of his way to make an awesomely special request, and got the Team to deliver a special All Topped out burger. Delivered to the table, in time and my taste buds were just amazed by the fabulous smell, intrigue and expectations. The 5+1 senses just were astounded with what will be realised, but awe on what may happen after too. The morning and future awaits!

But what was very special and rewarding, was to give this Plymouth and South Western United UK and Collaborative Team was the special T-Shirt and sweetness token of gesture, that they wholeheartedly deserved, with respect and with deserved gratitude. This will remain always, with sincerity and love with deepness of the stomach and 💖!
