Pausa Cafe — Restaurant in Plymouth

Reading some of these reviews are disappointing and not a true reflection of Pausa cafe. The staff are really lovely and very helpful and accommodating though under a lot of pressure. Prices are unbelievably reasonable. I go here regularly. My only complaint at the moment is advertising of a lovely special priced cream teas. Today for the third time I’ve been told there is no cream as they’ve run out. I suggested they put a sign up to say so, so I don’t join a queue and wait a considerable time to be told they can’t do it. I was disappointed with the answer “ I’m not the boss” . Waited ages very slow system when I ordered they’d run out of teaspoons and knives difficult to eat a baked potato! Had to ask twice for a knife perhaps they should pop downstairs and buy some ! The food was the real disappointment limp salad and tiny potato with only a small spoonful of chilli won’t be going back thought the staff were pleasant...

Good variety of food and cakes, unfortunately the Dirty chai I ordered was far too sweet, too much syrup, I could hardly taste the coffee and ended up leaving it.
