We hired the upstairs function lounge for a few hours to throw a surpise birthday party, from start to finish the service was faultless.

Email enquiries were quickly replied to by the incredibly helpful Function Manager who also recommended some local entertainment to add a little extra to the event.

The lounge is lift accessible, or up two flights of stairs and really makes the most of the building's original design and decoration without making the contemporary bar area feel out of place. There is plenty of seating (either sofas or dining chairs) available and a coat rail is in the corner to save everyone worrying about their outer wear.

I'd like to point out a couple of interesting features, firstly was the very retro games arcade table that appeared to be plugged in and working (alas we were too busy with the party to give it a test) and the other being one of the coffee tables also housed a small fish tank, which certainly had us talking!

The room was laid out for us upon arrival, and the function manager was more than happy to lend a hand in putting up a few balloons and showering the place in table confetti before the rest of the guests arrived and checking what music we'd like played out during the time we were there.

The afternoon tea was one of the better ones I have had, with 4 halves of sandwiches (ham and mustard, smoked salmon and cream cheese, egg mayo with spring onion and cheese with cucumber), a giangantic scone with cream & jam (though the debate raged amongst the party as to the correct order of application) and 3 different cakes (lemon and white chocolate, a slice of some sort of raspberry crumble cake, a slice of chocolate brownie and a mixed chocolate baton).

Tea and filter coffee were replenished several times for us (though the tea pot did not like pouring its contents only into the intended cup, as the tea ran down the edge and onto the floor!), and the bar was well stocked with spirits, bottles and on-tap drinks.

All in all, a brilliant time was had by everyone in the group and this was only added to by the helpfullness of the staff, the great food and the...

Phoned on the Saturday and they were polite and helpful, arranging a table for four on the Sunday at 2000. The place is lovely make no mistake and tastefully decorated. The waitress earned her tip, very friendly and talked well. Food was shocking.... Drinks menue was 90% off due to lack of spirits and ingredients. 4 starters and 4 mains a 2 desserts were ordered. Food come cold and just looked terrible. Chicken wings with no chips or salad just dumped on an oversized plate with a droopy spiced onion salsa in the middle. Was 4/10. Crab cake / burger was supprisingly nice although the abundance of crab flavoured sauce masked the issue that their was little actual crab. And to be served with salted crisps instead of chips or nachos was a let down. 6/10. Pulled beef burritto was wetter and more sloppy than my Mrs going down a slip and slide. Tasteless and again just an item dumped on a plate. 2/10 Loaded nachos, were indeed loaded but come stone cold 5/10 2x chocolate brownies... These were by no mistake microwaved mass brought desserts. However they were nice and hot enough the cream melted. The three fresh raspberries and indulgent chocolate made up for the fact these were microwaved. 7/10

Overall I would not recommend this place for food or drinks. However if you are on the lash with the lads or Mrs and fancy a nice looking building to have a pint in it is worth...

I booked a table for two online, however my friend's train to Plymouth was running particularly late. I phoned ahead to ask to push the table back by an hour, but was told the restaurant was fully booked and this would not be possible. I was told that I could still have the table up until 3pm, as tables could only be reserved for a maximum of two hours. When we arrived at 1.30, the waitress booked us in and informed us that she needed the table at 17.30 and asked if this would be an issue. Which it wouldn't. There was a wedding reception upstairs, and we were informed that the kitchen wouldn't be able to take any orders for fifteen minutes, and the waiter that told us this was more than apologetic and was back to us to take our order before the fifteen minutes was up. My friend had the Burger Sliders and I had the Fish and Chips. Both meals came out hot, and arrived very quickly. Very tasty, well presented and the wait staff couldn't have been more helpful. Had it not been for the negative impression from the person answering the phone, this would have been a 5* experience. The meal was great, the atmosphere was lively but not too loud, and the room had an eclectic decor. As I say, the only thing that let the experience down was the phone call. 100% would recommend. Thank you for...

The Best Bottomless Brunch in Plymouth has to be The Treasury. 🫧🍸🫧🍸🫧🍸🫧🍸🫧 The incredible Ben came to me and asked for an Adele Bottomless Brunch and I absolutely agreed! My first one was the 6th August 2023 and since then it’s taken off! We now host lots of brunches with different themes from Mamma Mia to Country and it’s gone from strength to strength. Yesterday I had @Leanne Love back with me for Adele and Celine Dion and it was bloody awesome. I am so proud of what we’ve achieved. To be the first venue in Plymouth to do themed bottomless brunch events with live performers/singers has been epic. There is loads more in store for you this year and I am so excited for 2025! Here’s a little reel of yesterday afternoon at 2pm ✨ #thetreasuryplymouth #bottomlessbrunch #bottomlessbrunchplymouth #plymouthrestaurants #adeletribute #celinediontribute #adeletributeuk #adeletributeact #adeletributeshow #tributeartist #adele #tributeartist #daydreamers #daydreamerswithadele

Love the decor, service and drinks. The atmosphere was a little rowdy - typical to be honest for a December visit. My friends food was great (chicken ballotine) but mine so incredibly disappointing - the menu described ‘smoked haddock, roasted potato cake, hollandaise and watercress’ the reality was a very small portion of bland crushed potatoes (not roasted) overcooked fish, covered with hollandaise on the top of the fish skin (which made it disgustingly soggy), topped with mustard cress which was a very unwelcome flavour. I’d come back for drinks but skip eating In response to the restaurant reply…it wasn’t about my tastes. Okay the mustard cress instead of the advertised watercress as unpleasant but the rest of the advertised food was so bland and soggy (with the sauce on top) because of the prep so nothing to do with my tastes and a very small portion. If you want to trial menu items with diners (I’ve worked as a mystery diner) I’d be welcome. I wish you well

Stopped her on the way home after having a meal out and it was as nice as I had remembered. I was with a friend and it was a damp miserable evening but on our way back home, the outside just caught our eye as we went past and looked inviting. It was all lit up and looked cosy. My friend still fancied another drink and I thought I could get a nice coffee. We were both very happy. He had a whisky old fashioned with some very nice whisky. He is a bit of a connoisseur when it comes to whiskey, I really am not. But I did try it and it was very nice as old fashions go. My latte too was lovely. The venue itself, with its high ceilings and stylish décor, just seemed so sophisticated. I said to my friend, I felt like we were in an old fashioned gentlemen's lounge or something like that. The staff too were very friendly. It was very quiet of course , it was around 6.30 on a half term Tuesday evening. I think we decided we will make it our new Friday after school spot.
