I went on Sunday at 5:30 PM to get two coffees through the drive-thru. I asked for a ‘double espresso,’ and the girl at the intercom asked, "Americano?" I replied, "No, a Doppio with two raw sugars." She then asked, "Double espresso with two pumps of caramel?" At that point, I just drove to the window because I couldn’t hear her.
At the window, I asked, "Do you know what a Doppio is?" She replied, "OK." I asked, "How much?" She said $9.33. I handed her $10.33, expecting $1 back, but she gave me $0.95 in dimes and quarters. I told her I wanted a dollar bill, and she seemed completely confused. She finally gave me a dollar bill and closed the window, leaving me baffled. She didn’t even realize she was giving me extra money, handing it over. I told her: “This change is yours, HELLO” and she was LOST.
Are any of these cashiers good at math or giving correct change? Seriously, how can you put a “Barista” with no customer service experience on the job? Are they not responsible to make sure the register is even at the end of their shift? I know they are, but the people working right now. Do not know how to...
Read moreEverytime I go Starbucks, which I normally go there four times a week, I always experience something. It is a rare occasion that someone actually talks to me and says thank you or even have a nice day. A couple of months ago, I got four drinks and ended up having to come back all the way across town because they messed up two of my drinks and said there was nothing else they could do for me. When I went inside, they still had their seating closed due to covid. I went through the seating to get to the front counter so I could talk to the manager that I talked to on the phone. One girl started yelling at me for walking through there, which I didn’t have any other way because their was 3 people standing my the mobile order pickup. Once I talked to the manager, she was not friendly at all to me or didn’t even say sorry for the mess up. I will continue to support the business, but not as much...
Read moreStarbucks coffee is the same in Korea, China or anywhere else in the world. It's corporate coffee and this particular location seems to have the most inept employees of any I've visited. They are particularly slow, so slow I'm not sure which is worse Walmart or Starbucks. Is there interests and they think they can pull it over and you don't make up excuses for not wanting to sell you the bulk coffee until you remind them that you know they can do it because they've done it for you multiple times and explain to the staff they actually have to weigh it out and put it into plastic drink cups I'm sure I'm the only person who insists on getting the freshest beans instead of the vacuum sealed but I grew up in Seattle when every Starbucks sold bulk beans. if they can get it solid crew and that knew what they were doing it might not be so slow and earn a...
