Avenue Bar — Restaurant in Alaska

So I was walking from the gaslight to my truck that was parked 2 blocks north of the avenue and as i get to the yellow and blue po box building theres these guys sitting in there and they approach me trying to sell me meth. Once I said no they pulled knives on me and I had to do a 6 on 1 fighting for my life in the street. Then I jump over to the avenue and try to go in and ask them to let me in cause they can see a group of meth heads are trying to gut me. The guy says no and locks the door on me and then the jumping continued out front while they watched from behind the glass. Traffic is at a stop chaos going on and these guys just hid inside trying to say the cops were coming for something else and no one could enter.. They flat out lied cause Isat in my truck for another hour and no cops ever came for anything. Staff at the ave will watch you get killed while they sit it out is all im saying. Think twice before going to a place like that. This could have been another experience if they had let me take a seat and get out of harms way till the cops arrived. What would you do if you were stranded in an unfamiliar city with friends and family thousands of miles away? If you said "bar crawl," you're awesome. Avenue was one of the stops along my Tour de Anchorage, and I lucked out because this place is awesome! The attentive bar staff and rockin' band are all well and good, but it's the patrons here that make Avenue the excellent place that it is. I've visited many a bar in my day, but rarely have I encountered such friendly people inside. FEMALES DO NOT GO HERE ALONE. The white male bartender gave my card to someone else. He claimed me and another male patron had the same last name. Never did anything to rectify it, told me there was nothing that could be done. This is a red flag for human trafficking as it strands females at the bar. Also, if it was a genuine mistake, no one is safe to use their card here if they don't verify who they're giving the card back to. I will attempt to contact the owner and update my post afterwards.
