Had the best deep tissue massage of my life with Jalisa. I booked a 50-minute massage and upgraded to 80 minutes mid-massage - it was that good. Jalisa is smart, caring and genuinely interested in fixing your problem areas (for me, that’s my back). Sadly I don’t live in Anchorage, but The Lexington makes me wish I did. No detail was spared in the creation of this place from the decor to the fancy crushed ice to the wax-sealed gift cards. The Lexington is pure luxury. Ellie at the front was super friendly and helped me buy a gift card for a family member who lives in Anchorage. I can’t wait to come back next summer!

To start, the location is fantastic and the shop is gorgeous. I go for Jenna who has truly created a color that I'm in love with. I wanted to become a coppery orange and naturally I have dark brunette hair and I haven't dyed my hair in nearly 10 years so it took a lot of trust. But I have zero regrets and instead I found the color I may want for the rest of time!

10/10 recommend! Got the signature manicure from Karen. It was the most relaxing manicure I’ve ever received! Karen was super kind and gentle. The salon is super super clean and I absolutely love the aesthetic and design. I’m super excited to come back and try the signature facial and the deep tissue massage! :)

I love love love The Lexington Salon and Spa. I personally see Jalisa for deep tissue massage (she never disappoints), and Dani for all my waxing and skin care needs. This place is so friendly and clean! The owner, Sarah is pleasant and usually at the spa as well, when not with a hair client, greeting you as you come in to the large open waiting area/ Reception Desk. The layout was very well thought out and you feel transported to another city when you walk in. All the products used are incredible as well. I purchased the Pevonia Rose skincare line that was recommended by Dani for my hyper-sensitive skin, and this product has drastically changed my skin! All the staff is knowledgeable and some of the best in town! I highly recommend this The Lexington Salon and Spa over any others...

TL/DR- hairdressers good. Brazilian wax bad.

Fancy remodel is sharp and clean. The hairdressers love their craft/ job. I look amazing.

Edit to add i had the worst Brazilian wax job of my life. Bummer because the person was nice but the job was patchy and croocked. She waxed parts i didn’t want touched and showed her where not to was then left parts i wanted waxed and never game me a chance to review her work and ask for adjustments. It was very expensive and was SOFT WAX. Pubic region really should be sugar or hard wax. Will never go back for waxing. The hairdressers are...
