I went there yesterday at 9:40 PM to order and there was a young man sitting behind a car on an orange crate Who told me that they were not excepting any more orders for the night because they needed to get home and they wanted to be able to leave at 10 PM. I understand that people want to get home and get off work as quick as possible but if your store says it’s open till 10 o’clock then that means that your doors don’t close until 10 PM. At least that’s what it is that every other store\fast food place in town except for this one. And it wouldn’t irritate me so much, Except that this is the third time this is happened over the last month. The first time I got there at 9:25 PM, but there was a long line and by the time I got up to the ordering menu it was 9:50 PM & I was told that they weren’t taking any more orders even though I had been waiting in line for 25 minutes already. I explained to them that I had been in line for as long as I had and they basically just told me too bad so sad they weren’t taking any orders anymore. There were at least 5 cars behind me that had been there almost as long as I had that were turned away as well. The second time I did show up at 9:55 PM which was pushing it a little so that time didn’t bother me as much when they said no, but with this being the third time now, it’s just beyond ridiculous. It’s just not the proper way to conduct business(at least not in my opinion)not to mention that the first 2 times, the girl that I spoke to was extremely rude to me. This last time however, the young man outside was at...
Read moreIs zero stars ever an option? Thought we would go inside and avoid the wait in the drive-thru. Um, no. Waited 40 mins for 2 blizzards .Got one at about the 30 min mark, it was not a full cup and didn’t taste as good as ones we have had in the past. After 40 mins. requested a refund of the other. As the refund was being processed, which happened right away, the other blizzard magically appeared. The worker asked if we still wanted it and the manager processing the refund said no. The other patrons inside had also been waiting long enough that when something came up on the “ready “ counter, would come up to ask if it was theirs. Sometimes several times. Also, the inside was really dirty, like hadn’t been cleaned properly in many years. It just felt gross. After we came home we looked at the reviews for this location. Sooooo many complaints about wait times. Maybe there should be a limit if the location has an ongoing wait time issue. Like 15-20 mins seems reasonable if it’s busy. After that ask for a refund. If enough people do this maybe the location would get the message and not just reply with a robo response for a bad review on the internet. As for us, we won’t be back to this location. Not just because of the wait time, it was really dirty and greasy. Not just in the kitchen, which is open to see, but where people were sitting and getting condiments. Clean up your act,...
Read moreThe drive thru at Dairy Queen around 12:00-2:30pm is insane. So if you have lunch around this time your average wait time in the drive through would be probably 10-15 sometimes 20 minutes. It’s definitely slower than McDonald’s by a ton. But this is just a heads up. I’m here a lot during that time because it’s usually when I take my lunch breaks from work.
I love the food here and the staff here are great. I’ve never been the picky person. So if you are someone who expects the world around you to be perfect or get whatever you want the second you want it from the from the employee- don’t come here. And if you come here regardless of the fact and are rude don’t expect the employee to be happy to serve you. I’ve seen too many rude and idiotic people come through the drive through. Be patient or leave. It’s easy. The human being behind the counter makes mistakes too sometimes. If they do make a mistake you can politely tell them about it.
Every time I have came to the drive through and they have forgotten a drink or what have you- once I bring it up to them they are apologetic and fix it for me...
