Pil's Deli — Restaurant in Alaska

We ordered one ham and one Turkey BLT. They charge $2 extra for meat in a BLT. The sandwiches were ok and fine for the road. The muffin wrapped in plastic was straight from a Costco box a few days ago.

It was a bit pricey. For 2 sandwiches, a Costco muffin and hot tea was $30.

The facilities were questionable. Small shop, didn’t seem clean, and one employee picking their nose in the corner. At least the person making the food didn’t and wore gloves.

Good choice for sandwiches...

Small deli w 2 ladies. One cooking and the older one taking orders and payment. I ordered a club sandwich and waited and waited A customer came in after me and ordered his sandwich and the cook started to make that sandwich. I spoke up and said is she making my sandwich yet? I didn’t know what to expect when walking into this small deli....

Walking in was an experience. Beautiful classical music. Slightly busy, but still able to move around the small area. What really caught my eye was the deli meat slicer! I ordered the California Sub. Which turned out to be more of a blt but still very delicious. Eating outside was a big plus/star for me.
