It was my besties last night in town last night. She scoured our area for a “new” final taste of foods she loves that are not readily available “back home”. She stumbled across Little Greek Fresh Grill and inquired if we’ve tried them. (We had not). We ordered for our first time and utilized curb side pickup. We ordered; a appetizer platter, 2 gyro dinner platters, a side of falafel, extra Tzatziki sauce, a side of dolmades, an Olympian Pita and baklava.
It was ready SUPER quick. Nice portions. However—while dishing out at home for the orderees, it was missing the baklava and the extra Tzatziki. No big deal. Called with my name and order number. They apologized profusely and brought it straight to our house. Along with “free baklava” vouchers for our return. How thoughtful.
The food. The falafels were delicious. They were perfectly tender with a delicate crust and amazing Tzatziki. The dolmades (I’m the only one in my house that likes them) were well seasoned and the lemon sauce the perfect tangy compliment. The hummus and warm pita is delicious. The spinach pie is wonderful; flaky and savory goodness!!
My bestie said the Olympian Pita was delicious. Very flavorful and just the right combo of flavors and textures.
My husband and I had the gyro platters. We couldn’t finish them. The portions are plentiful. Juicy gryo slices. Moist, flavorful rice. And a Greek salad. So so good.
The baklava was flaky and delicate. Stuffed with nuts, cinnamon and perfectly oozing with honey. Yum.
Hot. Good portions. Fast. More importantly, Fresh, Flavorful and FANTASTIC customer service.
Looking forward to Little Greek Fresh Grill being a regular dinner option. Thank...
Read moreI ordered online saying I wanted to pick it up at 7:15. Due to FL traffic I didn't get there until 7:20. I went in and the guy at the counter said "We just got it, it'll be about 8 minutes." Okay, so I left and went for a walk. That was the first mistake. I come back and it turns out they had my order ready the whole time. Okay mistakes happen but following me outside to my car is overstepping in my opinion. I get it. You're sorry mistakes happen. I was annoyed but I didn't yell or react much to it. Thankfully the woman got the hint and went back inside. I get my one bag and I'm halfway out of the shopping center when I was like "Wait I ordered more food than this" so I go back.
I also realized I forgot my drinks. The same older woman approaches me apologizing over and over. Once again mistakes happen. Like I'll be honest. Yes my order ended up wrong (very wrong) but I wouldn't be writing this if that was the only issue. Like I ordered 50 bucks worth of food and feta was dumped on things I said "no feta" on. I asked for a shrimp pita I got I think steak. The french fries and fried feta tasted like they were fried in month old oil but if she had just left me alone. I don't understand what her obsession was with walking me to my car. And at one point she asked to see my order on my phone. I showed her, she took my phone and walked away. That is very unnerving and I just left as fast as I could without even confirming the order which would've saved me a lot of time. If you come here just be very clear on what you want because ordering online...
Read moreI don't leave bad reviews often but really feel compelled this time. I have enjoyed Little Greek for years but this was my first time ordering from this location. It's my last time, too. From now on I'll only order from the Aloma or UCF spots.
I ordered the same thing I always get: dolmades, fries, and a pita with gyro and chicken in it. The dolmades were inedibly salty and falling apart, and I ended up just throwing them away. The fries were flacid and oily, and served at half the portion compared to the other locations.
The pita was delicious... until my last bite uncovered chicken with a raw center. I opened up another piece of chicken that had fallen out of the pita earlier and it was also raw in the center. I hadn't noticed because the gyro meat disguised the texture, but I was suitably disgusted. I'm just hoping I don't get sick but I took pictures just in case.
I understand that sometimes something falls through the cracks but failing at 3/3 items indicates there are systemic failures happening at...
