Was there this past Saturday. I was excited that indoor dining is open again. Went in to order and noticed that the chow mein was a big soggy mess. So I asked if there would be fresh chow mein. I’ve done this before and it’s usually not a problem, you just have to wait, which I’m ok with. She turned to the kitchen and asked how long for fresh chow mein, and a man dressed in black (I assumed he was a manager), snapped very rudely at the girl that asked and said, it’s gonna be a minute, it’s coming! Another associate and her both were embarrassed and stated that it would be about 3 minutes or so. I placed my order and told them it was ok and I would wait. As I waited the man dressed in black was rudely putting pressure on young man asking him how to make things. He was being rude and abrasive to the young man and I’m assuming he was training him. He then told one of the older female associates that he had to talk to her later, she questioned him why? And he said it was because of her attitude. She questioned him, and he again rudely said it was because of her attitude and that he didn’t have time for it at the moment and would talk to her later. When I was paying for my order, I asked if the man was a manager and two associates nodded in confirmation. Thomas, if you have a chance to read this, remember that you catch more bees with honey. Also remember that customers can see and hear what you are doing while dining in an open kitchen type restaurant. I have zero complaints about the food and the service received by the associates. They were all very nice and fast. However watching a manager rudely training and speaking down to his associates left a very bad taste in my mouth. Furthermore they have an entire table set up with “we’re hiring!” Information. I would NOT recommend anyone to work there knowing they will have to deal with a manager with such a foul attitude. Lastly walking through the restaurant with your kitchen gloves on, straightening chairs, pushing in the garbage in the trash can and then opening the front door doesn’t seems very clean to me. Get it together. You have what seems like good people working there, trying there best while being short staffed. Maybe you need to go next door and get a massage. Customers are watching. We are empathetic and will call...
Read more*This was only resolved by going to Panda Express CORPORATE because this store purposefully refuse to pick up my calls. This is why the review is 2 stars instead of 1.
I went to this panda express on 3/6/2022 around 7:50. Before I entered I checked on my phone and it said that this location had the Honey Shrimp available since I cant eat any meat including chicken. There was a long line due to the group ahead of me. When I got to the female employee, I was asked if I was getting a bowl. I said I was getting the plate and asked for Chow Mein and Honey Shrimp. As she was assembling my food, I noticed that where she took the main entree was where it was labeled chicken. I asked the employee if she grabbed the Honey Shrimp since it looked a bit different than I saw online. The employee told me that they have the Honey Shrimp but it doesn't have walnuts. I was then asked if I still wanted the Shrimp. I said it was fine without the walnuts. So I paid and left the store. On my way home I asked my sister who accompanied me inside Panda Express to taste the food because of a nagging feeling I had. My sister tried it and stated it was chicken. I had a friend taste it and was confirmed to be chicken. I couldn't eat my food because it had CHICKEN in it even thought I asked to be served SHRIMP. Called the store for the past 2 days and they NEVER picked up. If they did not have Shrimp they should had mentioned it instead of lying to me.
Since they don’t consider taking the customers: demand seriously and lie instead of notifying me they don’t have the item, be weary of coming here ESPECIALLY you have dietary restriction/ allergies.
TLDR; Came in to get honey walnut shrimp and was purposefully given chicken that I couldn’t eat even after asking for confirmation of item multiple times. Refused to answer...
Read moreSo we're both rushing to get to the movie theatre after work, and there's no time to eat at home, so we come here, because the Panda is delicious. My girlfriend gets the Plate, and I get the Bigger Plate.
Her chow mein was very good with a good mix of veggies in it to bring some freshness to the heavy noodles. The Orange Chicken is super classic to this place, it's delicious, but it's also very strong in flavor. I recommend sampling it before you order it, just in case. The Honey Sesame Chicken Breast was even better, though. The honey and the sesame flavor were present, but more subdued. I could have eaten a gallon of this stuff.
I got the fried rice, it was exactly what you're picturing. I also got the orange chicken. I got the Grilled Teriyaki Chicken (adding the optional sauce on top), and wow it was delicious. It didn't taste like fried chicken tossed in sauce. It tasted grilled and tender. Solid. But the best thing I had this visit was the Beijing Beef. The grilled beef had a solid crust on the outside of each strip and it was tender and delicious. The peppers and onions it was mixed in with paired perfectly with it.
The food was as expected, superb. I really enjoyed the service on this particular visit. I asked the gentleman at the counter what he recommended in terms of the entrees, and he started throwing free sample after free sample at me and my girlfriend. He was so nice, and I got to pinpoint exactly what I wanted.
Overall, this was good. I used to think this place was overpriced, but now that inflation has made everything else in the world more expensive, these prices weren't so bad. We certainly got a lot of bang for our buck. Come...
