Disappointing Experience at McDonald’s
My recent visit to McDonald’s was an absolute letdown on every front. From the moment I walked in, it was clear that this location had no regard for quality, cleanliness, or customer service. It’s shocking how a global brand like McDonald’s can allow such subpar standards to persist.
First, the cleanliness was appalling. The floors were sticky, the tables were littered with leftover food and trash, and the drink station looked like it hadn’t been wiped down all day. Even the trash bins were overflowing, with garbage spilling onto the floor. It was hard to find a clean place to sit, and the smell in the dining area was less than appetizing—more like a mix of grease and stale air.
The service was no better. The staff seemed indifferent, almost annoyed that customers were present. I waited an unreasonable amount of time to place my order, even though there was hardly anyone in line. When I finally got to the counter, the employee barely acknowledged me, mumbling the total without even making eye contact. The lack of professionalism was astounding.
Now, let’s talk about the food—or whatever you want to call what they served me. My burger was cold, the cheese wasn’t melted, and the bun was hard, like it had been sitting out for hours. The fries, which are supposed to be McDonald’s signature item, were soggy and lukewarm. To make matters worse, my drink was completely flat, with barely any ice. It felt like zero effort was put into ensuring any part of my meal was fresh or enjoyable.
The cherry on top was the price. For the quality of food and service I received, the cost was outrageous. McDonald’s is supposed to be affordable fast food, but I felt like I was paying premium prices for a substandard experience.
Overall, this visit was a complete disaster. McDonald’s used to be a reliable choice for a quick, satisfying meal, but this experience has completely changed my perception. I wouldn’t recommend this location—or maybe even the chain in general—to anyone. If this is the direction McDonald’s is heading, it’s only a matter of time before they lose loyal...
Read moreWhen I first started going to this store it was great but for the past month this place has steadily declined. I sit for long periods in Drive they waiting for someone to take my order, which sometimes they never even do and I have to go to the window. Occasionally get wrong sodas, often times get some form of an attitude or completely IGNORED all together on a few occasions (you’re at work sweetie, pay attention to guests, not your friends). Completely unprofessional on third shift when going through, you could definitely tell that the crew had been smoking and were so dysfunctional that they couldn’t take the order of one car at the speaker, had to pull around and repeat it three more times at the window for them to understand. Like how hard is it for a coffee, 2 soft drinks, two hashbrowns, and a sandwich? Today was the point where I actually had to say something. There were two mobile orders placed and one order placed in store and we sent someone to pick them all up with the codes and come back. Not only did they refuse to give one of the orders claiming they need the phone and not just the code, but that they also couldn’t make one of the items. Since when can’t you get a sausage egg McMuffin all day as part of ALL DAY BREAKFAST? Apparently three months ago you can’t get it after 2 pm? Yet depending on the day we’ve gotten it before (it’s one of the things we crave from there). Also I’ve been a manager at McDonald’s before and it has a section to input codes for orders into the computer. But you suddenly can’t do that now? But yet when the one that was there didn’t go through you could pull it up on they system and you listed both of them? If it’s not there then why did you read it off in the list of names? Please explain? It’s not the fact of me not getting food, it’s the fact of don’t tell me you CAN’T do something when it simply is the fact that you don’t want to do something. They definitely could use some help and training on how to make things run smoother and handle such “complicated tasks”...
Read moreSo much for the last decent McDonalds in this area. For years my wife and I would go to this location when we needed good fries and quick service, but it looks like that's over. Wasted close to 40 min for an order of a double quarter pounder, Mcrispy (had ordered a McChicken) and 10 piece nuggets. I knew things were going to be bad when I ordered my meal and had asked for no Mayo on the McChicken and the drive through response was "it doesn't come with Mayo." Every McChicken I know is always drenched in Mayo and stopped bothering to request light Mayo and just go No Mayo to save a headache. When I get the receipt that's when I realize they're getting me a Mcrispy and now it makes sense the higher cost and Mayo response. I don't make a big deal about it, but now I know for next time to say not McCrispy. However, after getting our drinks, we were told to pull forward to wait for our food. The line isn't busy and not like there's a lot of cars waiting. That soon changes as I see the window continues to keep sending cars to each pick up stop number. Finally we got our food after waiting for 15 minutes, which doesn't make sense why it would take that long, and the carrier walks away quick. I start pulling forward to the exit and that's when we realize that there's no double quarter pounder. That's an issue because at this location, once you turn, it's either take I4 or go over I4 and do U-turn across the bridge, which is a pain at any time of the day. Takes 15 min to get back to let them know I didn't get my burger. It wasn't a mistake like it was forgotten to be put in the bag, but just never made. Finally get the burger after waiting 10 min. I get my burger with the cheese uncooked and sloppily placed together. Are you kidding me that this is worth $10 for a meal?? Looking back I realize, it took them 15 minutes for a McCrispy and 10 piece nuggets. How does that even happen. Just so frustrated with the loss of quality control with the food and service, yet are paying...
