AM Thai Fusion Cuisine — Restaurant in Anaheim

What a disappointment. Name says everything. Thai Fusion. Bland. No flavor. I came here with a friend and we ordered: Pad Thai, Beef Salad, and Mango Sticky Rice.

-Beef salad: no flavor. Beef itself was very tough and hard to chew and swallow. It so tough that I thought I was chewing beef jerky. NOT EVEN EXAGGERATE. if you don't believe me, waste your $10 to give it a try . A server notice that we did not like the dish and asked if we want something else. We said yes because the beef was tough so im going to have papaya salad instead. That one is just also another disappointment. Very very bland.

-pad thai. No color. No taste. At least the shrimp was no chewy.

-mango sticky salad. DID NOT LOOK AS THE PICTURE. It look like a quick cut of mangoes and portioned out sticky rice. You can see the rice was in a bag or something like that. Look unappetizing.

At the end, looks like the older lady was the owner. Came to us said that she did not charge the papaya salad in a replacement of "beef jerky salad" and if we want soft meat, we can order beef rib eye replacement for $2 extra. I was like is this lady serious right now? She did not admit it was the restaurant fault to serve the tough, over cooked beef, instead, blaming us for being cheap and recommend us to pay more so we can get better quality meat. AND STILL CHARGE US THE BEEF SALAD INSTEAD OF PAPAYA SALAD SINCE WE HAD LITERALLY ONLY COUPLE BITES OF THE BEEF SALAD. What a good way serve customer! I was going to give this restaurant two stars but since they served me like this. One star....

I drive all the way to AM Thai to get some lunch specials of Pad See Eww for $7.95 and 2 orders of Orange Chickens for my 4 yr old daughter.. cuz she loves this chicken!!

Either dining in or taking out, the Employees are always friendly and they make sure you are treated right.

During the weekdays, the lunch hours between 11:30am-2pm are not so busy, so if you are near by, make sure to visit AM to get your lunch specials.. FOR $7.95! it's really good stuff and right amount of flavor they make.

I ordered a Pad See Eww lunch special and 2 orders of regular orange chickens, and my order came out within 10 minutes.. and my to go orders were ready right before I was done with my food, packaged nicely in a plastic bag.

For Thai food near Anaheim, I can't find anywhere else than Am. They have a relatively large parking lot, and they are right next to the Indian Cuisine.

Their restroom is clean and organized, and they can serve as many as 10+ people on their long tables inside.

Good food, good price, and friendly employees should never go wrong. will be back for more...

I ordered the barbecue chicken lunch special. It came with a small salad, rice and an egg roll. The egg roll was average as was the white rice. The salad was served wet so the dressing and water pooled at the bottom of the bowl. So it was basically a salad without dressing. The BBQ chicken was dry and no extra sauce was provided. The portion, a full sized breast and wing was more than enough. But it was served 15 minutes after I ordered... Microwave or sitting in the hot box??? Good atmosphere but music choice was unusual, coffee shop renditions of pop songs but with heavy bass. Or perhaps the bass on the radio is turned to high. Other than myself, patrons were 60 plus which makes the music odder. Ate outside and staff checked on me several times. They were friendly and...
