Kokodeck — Restaurant in Anaheim

I love chicken tenders and spicy chicken sandwiches so I had to try out this new restaurant. The restaurant is clean and neat inside.

I got the spicy chicken tenders and the chicken gang jung which are like mini bite sized Korean fried chicken.

The $10 chicken tenders comes with fries, Texas toast, pickles, and a sauce. The chicken tenders were big, crispy, and juicy with a nice spicy kick. It's less dry and more juicy than the Raising Canes chicken tenders which was a nice surprise. The sauce and pickles were a great compliment; it's cool and slightly tangy. Fries/toast were good. Decent price and a great meal.

The $7 chicken kang jung are nice little bite sized pieces. Crispy, just a tad oily and light on the sauce. It needs a little more work, but I think it'll be great with some adjustments. Wish I can have some beer with it hahaha

The management is great, receptive to feedback.

My mother, my sister, and I tried Kokodeck for the first time tonight. We ordered the Mango habanero wings, chicken teriyaki burger, and the spicy crispy sandwich along with some fries and two drinks.

The spicy chicken sandwich puts the chain restaurants to shame. It is a big sandwich that is quite literally dripping with flavor. Pillowy soft buns, delicious coleslaw, thick pickle slices, and a large piece of crispy, juicy chicken.

You don't even need to order the fries if you get the sandwich because it is so filling. Do it anyway because not only are they delicious they're only $0.75 when ordered with a sandwich. Plus you're supporting a local business.

The sandwich comes neatly wrapped in checkered paper and faux newspaper.

The mango habanero wings are also delicious. Large wings with a glossy, sweet, and spicy sauce.

Get napkins because you'll need them.

This place does crispy chicken very well. I saw the many other reviews here and went in with high expectations and it met all of them. The chicken tenders are nice and big. Their french fries are flavorful and got a good crunch. I had both the garlic parmesan and the mango habanero and they were way better than anything else I have tried locally. The spice on the mango habanero was no joke and gave me that tingly lip sensation, but the flavors were so good I just kept chewing at them.

This place was great and Im very excited to try other things...
