Blaze Pizza — Restaurant in Anaheim

The wait was terrible. When the pizza came out he had this giant bubble that they had to break on it and the sides of the pizza 2/3 of it were burnt and they were taking her pizza cutter and scraping off all the burnt part. I asked him I said is that burnt oh no it's just a little extra crispy. I thought about us okay walked out the door with it got in the car figured I better taste a bit of it as soon as I tasted it it was nothing but burnt Crest taste so I took it back inside told him I don't want it and they refunded me but they don't care and when the manager that told him to scrape it off that's what totally pissed me off. Oh it's a to go order so they won't know yes I did I saw you. Never again at that location and today I tried going to the one in Santa Ana found out they closed that one up completely so it's not too much time than this one will be closed up. Update 3/2/25 came today cuz it sounded good today to come get pizza there. Bad idea, the greeter which I think was shift lead cuz she's kind of attitude as I walked in there was nobody there and I said oh I figured I'd be a line it's always usually busy in here and she just goes and what do you like to order. I was like wow okay not even a hi. The other employees didn't look very happy like because she was working there today with They were polite with me though. She's like after she placed my order you can pay over there at the other register, I usually go down the line while they're making my pizza so I can tell him what else I want to substitute and I'm doing that and then she's like oh you need to pay over here and I'm like okay just a minute and I told the gentleman what I'd like extra on my pizza. At $22 I'd better be getting whatever I want on it. She didn't even try to upsell anything she just said so do you want anything else or is this it. Just put a shit ton of ranch on it the top of it instead of just a drizzle. We ordered and the girl taking our order was great. She explained everything and helped us order. We paid and waited for our food. Well things went south after that. We asked for the sauce that was supposed to come with the cheesy bread and the girl said they were out. I went to the girl who took our order and she said okay hold on I’ll grab some. Some other girl comes out and says we don’t have any. Tell them no sauce. I asked why they couldn’t give us the sauce I see they have it. Then the manager turned around and said we ran out. I advised that the other girl said she would get us some. She said they were busy and couldn’t stop what they were doing. She was very argumentative and kept saying they were out. I said there was some right there. She then said well we don’t have any. I advised we paid for it. She said it’s free. I told her no because we paid for the bread and said well some people don’t want sauce. I said well we aren’t some people and my daughter wanted the sauce as pictured when ordered. She kept arguing with me. Then I finally said instead of arguing with me she could have already given me the sauce and been done and back at what she was doing. She then gave me the sauce that they said they didn’t have but did!

When we were waiting for our pizza I did notice the Pizza was Burnt and I asked the girl if it was burnt and she lifted it but it was the sides that were and she cut those off but the said manager turned around and rudely said do you have a problem? I said no just wanted to see if it was burnt since it did looked that way. But again this was before I knew she was the manager. She was very unprofessional and rude! Went here for Pie Day. No employee notified us that they are not participating for pie day. They said they had posted signs on the entrance about the issue, but clearly there was not. I ended up paying $41 for something that was no more than $15. There was no apology. There was no "let's make this right", and not even a sign on the entrance like they claimed. They didn't even give me a receipt. If they were not participating, they should have at least said something when we put in our order on the counter. Also, there were litter on the floor. The employee at the register was on his phone and took a while for us to pay. I would've just walked out but my wife just got off work and was hungry. I felt bad and didn't want to make her wait to go to another store so I just coughed up more money than I really had to. This was a very horrible experience.
