Toy Story Parking Area — Local services in Anaheim

ART (Anaheim Resort Transit or Anaheim Regional Transportation) service from this lot to Disneyland is a mess. ART contracts with Disneyland to provide shuttles from the Toy Story lot to the Disneyland main entrance. At certain times of day, the busses leaving Disneyland arrive only after long, long intervals, sometimes with a delay of more than 10 minutes between busses. When a bus holds 40 people and there is a line of several hundred tired customers, this is ridiculous.

On different days, Disney parking employees have offered the following guesses for the bad ART service:

1. There is a shift change.
2. Drivers are on strike.
3. A bunch of drivers called in sick.

Chats with ART's online service denied all of these but had no excuse for the long delays other than to say the busses are running fine (and I was clearly imagining a line of 300 people in front of me).

You won't see bad Google reviews for ART because they cleverly don't show a specific map location and because of their name change from Anaheim Resort Transit to Anaheim Regional Transportation. But keep looking. You'll find annoyed customers all over Anaheim.

So, is this a better parking option than Disneyland's Mickey and Friends lot? It shouldn't be. Maybe it's time to get Disney's own fleet and stop relying on a company this...

This is the only parking lot you should park at because its amazing. Before my trip to disneyland, one day before I asked security at the front in between both parks. Heads up I payed the 25$ parking fee along with my tickets. And the security said I had two choices where I could park. Here or at mickeys friends. But she also said that mickeys friends parking doesn't provide shuttle to the parks and the walk is around 40 minutes especially if your walking at a slow pace like my family and I. So we went for this parking lot instead. We got here at around 5:45 am, because the security said this lot opens at 6:30 am and closes at 11:00 am so other late people wouldn't arrive. So be arly!! We arrived at 5:45 am and we were the first ones at the gate. Then from there we waited then they let us in, follow the cones, get screened and security check. Then we rode the shuttle. From there we cut all the people who were waiting in line at disneyland because if you park at this lot you get to skip the whole security process...
