So we visited this "food hall" that isn't really a food hall inside of a hotel last night.
The good: the food was very tasty. We got the tacos al Pastor and they were excellent. (We're Mexican if that means anything). We ordered some shrimp dish from the Fig place and my wife loved it. And we ordered some Chow mein that was average/slightly above average.
The bad: it's not really a food hall. I'm pretty sure it's either one restaurant that is made to look like 8 or so different restaurants or a shared kitchen space where things are simply put together and heated up.
The ugly: prices are very high. We paid $65 for 2 tacos, a shrimp plate, some noodles and two canned sodas. That's exorbitant.
So I'm torn. It has a good selection and what we ordered at least was very good. It's not really a food hall and you can't see the individual stands or meet their owners because it's a Disney version of a food hall....that is, a bunch of menus and a screen you order from and a server who brings it all. The prices are high. If I could give it a 3.5, I would but since you can't give half points, I'll round up because the food was...
Read moreDidn't want to eat at the park so I went exploring with daughter. Wanted choices so found this place. This place is connected to the hotel and is easy to pass by since I did not see any signage from the street. Was a little concerned at first since we were the only people there when we first dropped in. Also was wondering if the place was a jack of all foods but master of none.
Well I had a double bbq burger and my daughter had the carnitas burrito. We were pleasently suprised. My burger was really good. My daughter liked her burritto though I thought it was a little bland, then again she opted to exclude the jalapeno sauce. Employee was very nice she even helped refill my water bottle for us. Rarely review but they asked and I felt I should let people know since we had a good experience.
Prices were what you would expect at hotels or places close to the park.
Editing review from 5 to 4 star. Not because quality of food was worse but in becoming more serious adding reviews of places I have been and even though food was good there are so many options I could not honestly say I would go here every time if I...
Read moreOasis Food Hall was amazing! They hosted our Baby Yoda Community Meetup and went beyond the extra mile for us! It was so relaxing to have some place with so many tasty options where each person can pick, order, and pay on your own. No hassle of splitting the bill amongst a huge group. You can mix and match food, too. And, they also bring it out to you. No unnecessary waiting and you can just enjoy your gathering. The food was delicious! My fiance and I had different burgers and Country Fries. Even if you have a significant other, family, or children with you, you can all pick from the restaurant you want (or two or three to have a variety of food) and everyone gets to eat exactly what they want. The staff and Daymian were so sweet, attentive and helpful. The meetup was an absolute breeze. If anyone is planning any type of meetup, I definitely recommend Oasis Food Hall! To the staff working our meetup, thank you for everything you did! You even added personal touches with the Baby Yoda Day Care and adorable signs. Everything was done full of heart and care, and we absolutely...
